close to hospitals apartment

stayed here for 3 months during a contract and it was a great apartment to stay close to all the hospitals and within 5 min walk to great bars, restaurants and gym. I worked at medstar washington hospital and it was a 5 min bike ride or 10-15 min walk. the apartment was quiet and dark so perfect for night shifts. I enjoy cooking so bonus points for having a dishwasher, oven and a fridge. R was a great landlord and answered my questions quickly!

Perfect for travelers!

This is a hidden gem among the furnished places in this city. Great rate, fully furnished more than most studios. Full sized fridge, full oven, dishwasher AND washer and dryer. Its cool, dark and quiet - perfect for night shift. Walking distance to a LOT of night life and the metro. Walking distance to all the hospitals in the area - I did my assignment at Howard University and walked almost every day. Walking distance to lots of pet friendly places, including a few parks. Rachel is super accommodating, quick to respond and very attentive! Its tiny but its perfect for a traveler who wants to just work, explore, and sleep. The surrounding residential streets are also very quiet and no craziness happening while youre trying to sleep, despite it being in the middle of the city. Everything you need is here, just bring your own Tupperware LOL

Great Basement Apartment

I stayed at this property for 3 months while I worked at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. It is about a 2-3 minute drive around the corner to the nearest parking lot where most of the nursing staff park. The space is very clean and has everything that you would need. I was very comfortable inside.The landlord is AMAZING! Parking was not an issue because the landlord was able to get me a visitors parking decal to park on the street and even getting off at 1130p I was always able to find parking on one of the blocks along the apartment entrance. The only con that I experienced with the location, of course it's no fault of the landlord or anyone else, is DC has a horrible rat problem and I would see them every evening when I returned to the apartment because you have to walk on the alley and that it where all of the residents place their trash cans on trash day. If that's not an issue for you, than this is a sweet place! It's close to to everything and has all the amenities you need!
