Craftsman Studio Upper

I stayed at this property for five months. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay here. It is located in a historic district and I always felt safe. It's in a great location, close to downtown and eating establishments, entertainment venues and grocery stores. Everything was within a five-mile radius. I rented Unit #2. It was cozy and comfy. I loved the fact that it has a shower. The cons: there is no full length mirror in the unit, the toilet is too low, I never saw an ironing board, there was no laundry basket, no extra linens for the bed, no broom or mop and the 2nd set of stairs to go down from the unit were not well lit. My unit had a small pest problem. There's not a lot of space for storage or clothing. With that being said, the property manager was always attentive and tried to rectify any issue that I had. All in all, this is a nice place to stay for a short period of time. Some of the cons were not really cons, just things that were not to my liking. I would stay here again.

We loved staying at this property, it felt safe which is saying a lot in Memphis! The owner was so helpful and responsive. The neighborhood was lovely especially if you travel with kids like we do! Everything is close but far enough you arent in a busy street. The porch was wonderful to enjoy evening off work and the house had plenty of room for us to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed in Unit 1 & Unit 3 in the craftsman house. S was very accommodating especially when my job kept adding days to our schedule last minute and even let me switch units as number 3 suited my needs more as I needed more storage for food/clothes. Both are great units and the area is very quiet and felt safe. You may occasionally hear the neighborhood kids but nothing outrageous. If you want a bathtub go with Unit 3 if its available. Only downside to the unit is the streetlights shine through the closed blinds & could use a newer mattress but other than that is great and has a lot of kitchen storage space which is a plus if you prefer to cook. Unit 1 is a little more separated and feels slightly smaller but it comes with a new comfy bed and blackout curtains which is perfect if you sleep during the day. If any issues come up S is quick to respond and figure out solutions same day. I highly recommend units in this house.

This property was such a pleasure to stay at. The neighborhood it is located in is extremely family friendly and in a great part of Midtown. I loved everything about the studio I rented and the owners made it extremely easy for anyone staying short-term. The apartments are homey and well decorated which was very comforting as I did not bring many belongings since I was moving to Memphis just for a few weeks. I had access and was supplied with everything that I needed besides my personal items. I would stay here again in a heart beat if I find myself in Memphis again. The owners are amazing and accommodated to everything that I would have needed. 11/10!
