Unforgettable Memories by the Bay

From the moment we arrived, this house felt like a sanctuary. Some of my favorite memories are kayaking through the bay inlets, sipping tea as a storm rolled in, and simply sinking into the comfort of the bedding at night. The location is perfect: close to everything you might need, yet it feels worlds away - immersed in quiet, beauty, and the friendliest neighbors. Kristen and Spencer are truly exceptional hosts. Theyve thought of everything, creating a space that feels effortless, welcoming, and so hard to leave behind. I truly mourned saying goodbye to this home. Its more than just a place to stay, its a chapter of family memories Ill always treasure.

Restful sanctuary

Greenbrae Boardwalk retreat was dreamy, comfortable and a welcome place to recharge during my stay in Marin. Uber cozy bed, wonderful deep tub and gorgeous furnishings help you feel right at home in this wonderful waterfront setting. Safe, excellent parking and refeshing communication with homeowners K and S. Will definately return to this lovely rental home! Will miss the morning rowers, sailors and paddleboarders meandering by as you soak up the breathtaking views from most windows and wrap around deck. Many various birds, even had a hummingbird on the deck early in the morning to start a magnificant day and now need an ECM Espresso Machine for our home to remember this joyous place. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home-- my favorite rental of all in the 6 years as a traveling medical professional. Gonna be hard to beat--enjoy your gift if it is available, the short walk on the boardwalk was equally refreshing with kind thoughtful neighbors.

Beautiful

This is one of the most wonderful houses on the magical Greenbrae Boardwalk. To the south, it has a perfectly framed view of the Corte Madera Marsh. To the north, it has the tidal Corte Madera Creek, where you can see river otters, sea lions and a variety of birds. In good traffic, it's only 8 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, so it's close San Francisco. The space was sparkling clean when we came in. It has beautiful hardwood floors with radiant heat. It's tranquil. And - my favorite, what I will miss the most: the swing on the south-facing porch!

Magical Place <3

Wow! Beautiful house on a unique boardwalk in a spectacular habitat. K and S's home has a little bit of everything for everyone. Be it outdoors, tides, fishing, reading, writing, a pleasant community, Mt. Tam, the Bay, cats, hot tubbing, a ferry ride into the City, a train ride away to go to North towards Wine Country, or just relaxing on the water, one will find what they are needing here. We've had extended stays here three times and enjoyed our time very much. Communication was thorough and easy. I would imagine if it's you and your partner, someone that needs solitude, or a family staycation or vacation, my words can't do justice and I am sure you will be happy with a weekend, a week, or a month. We loved our stay here!!!

My fianc and I ended up staying here two times for months at a time! We loved our stay here. Its incredibly calm, quaint and so unique in that its on the water. The home is well decorated, so cozy, and comfortable. I probably had some of my best and most well rested sleep staying here. K and S are also very kind and responsive. My fianc and I consider them friends now with how incredibly considerate the both of them are. I 10000% recommend this place to anyone and think so fondly of our time here. I cant think of anything negative today.

Perfect Retreat Home

Prepare to retreat to a small piece of heaven! K and S have created a lovely home and are the perfect hosts. They provide a very detailed document specifying everything you need to know for the house, hot tub (which is divine), and the very adorable cat. From the moment you step foot onto the boardwalk you leave the stresses of the main world, and with each step forward the beauty and tranquility of the marsh and creek washes over you. You can't help but relax feel joy while staying at this tranquil retreat. The home has everything you need and K keeps it well-stocked, inviting you to any of the supplies you may need. When you do decide to leave, you are centrally located to anything you may need in Marin, from hiking to great dining, to paddle boarding. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate, just do it!
