Captains Cove

Captain's Cove was a perfect landing for us as we moved back to Missouri and we were transitioning to a home of our own. The hosts are fantastic and truly cared that all of our needs and requests were met. We had some storms come through during our stay that knocked a large tree down, into the internet cable and the host worked with me to get the internet issue resolved immediately and her husband was over with a chainsaw to clean up the tree not long after! The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the neighbors are sweet! We had a friend that lived nearby and we walked to her house for dinner. Commercial street is very close where there are great restaurants and an awesome farmers market on Saturday mornings! My wife enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning and I enjoyed the large back yard to grill and hang out. As a host of FF's ourselves, I'd recommend staying here and know that Captain's Cove will have everything a traveling professional needs!

Captains Cove Home Away from Home

Captains Cove is truly a home away from home. The hosts are absolutely amazing and attentive to your every request. The neighborhood is quiet with great neighbors. The house has everything you need and if you do need anything reach out and the hosts will accommodate you. Exceptionally clean home. I enjoyed my coffee on the porch and relaxing by the fire in the large back yard. The only issue was the walnut tree out back that would shed its nuts so don't park too far back in the drive. This tree also drops nuts on the house but I got used to it after a few nights and could tell when the squirrels were playing :). The hosts were kind enough to delimb a tree in the drive at my request so that it would reduce the tree particles and bird droppings on my vehicle. I have enjoyed this home so much that I extended my stay when I renewed my hospital contract for another 13 weeks. It is a walk away to Commercial Street which has many great shops and wonderful dining. Thank you, L and L :)

Nice Little House

Nice little house. Clean and neighbors are friendly and quiet. Close to the hospitals if youre a travel nurse like I am. Nice to have a house to stay in instead of an apartment.
