Private Oasis

I really enjoyed my stay here! It's small but perfect for one person. Well stocked, clean, and even has own dishwasher and washer/dryer. Landlords were attentive and responsive for any small issues that came up. I will miss the peaceful sound of the outdoor water feature and my walks in Peninsula Park.

Small gem in Portland

I stayed at this location during the summer (May-July/August). Great location if you are looking to Hike. The apartment is behind the house. You have to pass the driveway/ side of home to access front door. (House guest are the sweetest). The apartment is actually on the second floor which is really nice for views. Kitchen is small and there is a washer/dryer combo that takes a while to wash/dry bu the apartment itself has plenty of sunlight has a comfortable amount of space. Amira has great communication and keeps the place clean. Located across the street from a beautiful park. There is plenty of parking available and tons of restaurant choices nearby. Really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone new to Portland. Not far from the airport and other neighborhoods around the city.

Safe and Comfortable

I stayed here for 3 months in the winter/spring time. The space is 500 sqft and all of the space is utilized for comfortable living. The backyard has a pond and a fireplace that I used frequently. I was worried about moving to Portland because of high crime and homeless rates but this unit is peacefully located in a neighborhood and I felt very safe. Neighbors are sweethearts. I enjoyed my stay here!

Perfect Portland Home

We loved our stay in this home so much! We stayed for 8 months, after extending multiple times because we just couldn't leave. The neighborhood is peaceful, great for walking, has the friendliest neighbors and being across from the park is an incredible treat. When we first moved, the rose garden at Peninsula Park was dormant for the winter but come late spring, summer & fall - WOW! The house itself is very well-furnished, cozy and with everything you need. The owners are meticulous with landscaping and do all the work themselves. It shows how much they love the space and keep it really beautiful for tenants to enjoy. There is 1 off-street driveway spot for the front house and always street parking available. Great storage as well as a work space in the basement and we were able to store bikes in the locked garage shared with the back unit tenant. We found NE Portland to be a really great area and wouldn't hesitant to return if we are able to in the future. Thank you!

Great stay!

Stayed here for about three months over the summer, and it was great! Really nice neighborhood, the place was clean, well decorate, and had everything you might need. Amira was super responsive to any concerns or maintenance needs. And the backyard is absolutely beautiful - I miss sitting outside on the balcony listening to the pond! Also plenty of parking, didn't have any issues finding a spot.

I am a healthcare traveler and stayed at As little bungalow during my 3 month contract. It was the perfect size for me and my cat! The backyard is beautiful and so peaceful. The neighborhood is safe and in the perfect location in Portland. I would highly recommend and hope to be back in future contracts!

Cozy, comfortable home with excellent amenities in ideal location!

My little family and I feel so lucky to have happened upon A and R's beautiful rental--an ideal spot to land after moving from Austin (and beginning our home search.) We'd seen a variety of other places, and this one was, from first look, the clear winner for both space and set-up for us (two adults), our infant, and our two cats. Every detail was so well thought-out, from the bedroom furnishings (very comfortable, multiple sets of sheets and extra blankets, great dressers/closets), to the kitchen (almost everything you could need to cook, bake, etc.) The basement was an excellent bonus space from which to work. Its location right on the heels of Peninsula Park made for stunning walks at any time of day (the rose garden seems perennially beautiful), and easy access to New Seasons (3 min drive/15 min walk), or (for we coffee-obsessed/sleep-deprived folk) multiple great coffee shops. The cherry on top was A and R themselves, who were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts :)

Great stay

5 stars for: clear, thorough communication throughout our stay; Attention to detail in providing all the necessities; beautiful backyard area; seamless check-in/check-out; great location. Hosts are extremely responsive as well. They came to troubleshoot a tv problem within 15 minutes of texting.

lovely property with great hosts

We had the opportunity to stay at A & Rs place for 5 months. We loved every second of it. It is comfortably furnished and was well stocked with everything you could need. It is located near the most beautiful rose garden & also near the on ramp to the 5, so you can quickly get where you need to go. Also, the street felt very safe. During our stay, the hosts were very responsive & so helpful to anything that came up. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to move to Portland!

Adorable cozy home and friendly hosts

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The house looks even more amazing in person. Lots of natural light, cozy, and very clean. Its also bigger than I imagined. The hosts are so awesome and accommodating. There was a heater issue during my first week and they took care of everything quickly while on vacation! Very sweet, friendly, and overall great people.

Fabulous

After my 3 month stay in the garage apparrtment I can say that it is a find. Its one of the best places Ive ever stayed....there is Beauty [it's nestled in the trees] Functionality [well-equipped] and its in a Great Location [a block from Peninsula Park and walking distance to a variety of groceries & coffee shops]; also close enough to the freeway to get around town. It is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. There is a shared back yard with a circulating pool, a fireplace and chairs to sit by the water. The hosts were always responsive and helpful.

everything you need!

Beautiful home in a great location! The owners were so helpful during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is right next to one of the most beautiful parks in the city. We felt very safe and comfortable here and we highly recommend staying here! :)

Amazing

I have stayed at many Airbnbs in furnished finders as a travel nurse and as an itinerant person, and I would say this is my favorite. It is an oasis of peace. The pond is amazing the sound of running water calms your heart the view of an old beautiful building in the background is a great touch. The space itself has vaulted ceilings and three skylights there are windows all over the place theres a deck with a view that gets sunlight. And A is a wonderful sunny human being who really cares and tries to make your stay great. Im sad I left and I hope to go back there sometime
