An excellent stay in a beautiful home

I had a wonderful experience renting from Helen on Furnished Finder. She was welcoming, responsive, and made the process easy and stress-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. The house was quiet, safe, and in a gorgeous location, exactly as pictured. Its a beautiful older cottage with unique, warm furnishings and a fantastic backyard with views of the Cahuenga Pass and Hollywood Bowl. The location next to Universal Studios was very convenient. Helen went above and beyond as a landladyalways approachable, helpful, and respectful of privacy. Her kindness made me feel like more than just a tenant. Her dog Chiquita was sweet, quickly warmed up to me, and got along well with my dog, which was a relief. Id happily rent from Helen again and highly recommend her place for anyone seeking a reliable, comfortable rental.

Charming room in Awesome Hollywood home

From the moment you enter H's house, she makes sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable. The home is very clean and quaint with old Hollywood charm, and the kitchen is fully stocked with a lovely backyard and outdoor seating/dining options if you prefer a bit of privacy. I stayed in 2 different rooms in the house (I upgraded to a larger one with an ensuite bathroom halfway through my stay), but both beds were very comfortable. The rooms also had plenty of closet/storage space. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful for evening strolls, with lots of great hikes and views of the Hollywood sign nearby. H also has an abundance of knowledge of the LA area and lots of helpful tips to offer. We enjoyed many a beautiful sunset together, and I feel grateful to have chosen this spot to call home for a couple of weeks. I hope to return soon! :)

An amazing place to stay

I had such an incredible time at Helens place. I went to LA for a work trip for 2 weeks and my stay at this perfectly located spot was better than I couldve ever hoped. I traveled with my 2 year old pup and he got a long great with Helens small chihuahua Chiquita(they actually became besties by the end of the trip and would hang out in Helens backyard and bark at squirrels together). Helen is an expert on getting doggos acquainted with each other. The house is nestled in an iconic Hollywood hills neighborhood next to some famous celebs houses(Helen gave me a walking tour of all of the neighboring celebrity mansions upon arrival). You will need a car but the location is close to everything and Ubers are reasonably priced. Very close to the majors studios and hospitals. Its a short hike to the Hollywood sign and has many other hiking trails in the neighborhood. Every morning I would thoroughly enjoy having my coffee and in the gorgeous backyard patio over looking the Hollywood hills. Helens house is very eclectic and styled with vintage pieces and Hollywood memorabilia. I felt very safe in this house. I also made friends with the other houseguests who were other lovely creatives in the entertainment industry. The bed I slept in was incredibly cozy, the room is quiet and there were black out curtains so I could sleep very easily. Also, Helen had no problem with me sleeping with my dog in the bed. Any toiletries I could want were provided, coffee, tea, food, anything possible. In fact, Helen welcomed me to join dinners several times with her and the other guests and I had several lovely dinners there. In the past, when I have stayed in airbnbs, I have kept to myself because it felt awkward being in someone elses home. I did not feel this way at Helens. I could work easily at the home since it was quiet but socialize when I wanted to. I felt like this was my Hollywood home and completely comfortable and lived in from day 1. I feel like I have become lifelong friends with Helen and the other houseguests. Such an amazing stay, I cannot wait to return.
