Perfect Home Away from Home

This beautiful cottage is a wonderful and quiet place to be at home away from home! The cottage has everything, including a full kitchen! Melanie is a terrific landlord as she wants to make sure the tenants have what they need! I loved being at this sweet cottage and I would love to come again!

Cute cozy cottage

Absolutely great rental. The 1 bedroom space has plenty of room, and is well-maintained with everything you may need. Never had any issues in the neighborhood, and Melanie is an incredibly sweet landlord. The cottage is about a 10 minute drive to Memorial hospital, and has plenty of privacy. Would absolutely rent again if in the area!

Great landlord

Melanie was a fantastic landlord. She went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and felt welcome. I always felt safe at this property and felt that my car was safe as well. I appreciated being able to park in the driveway. It is a short 7 minute commute to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. The cottage is clean and in great condition. Melanie provided all the necessities. My only recommendations for improvement would be a larger bed (currently a twin) in the bedroom and a loveseat or small sofa (currently 2 chairs) in the living room.

The cottage was clean, well-kept, and had everything you need. If it didn't, M & T (her caregiver) would make sure they provide you with solutions, promptly. M was very sweet & accommodating. The cottage is about 10 mins away from Memorial Hospital.

Perfect stay in Bakersfield

The unit is on a quiet side street very close to the airport and the majority of the local Hospitals. M is a sweet, attentive, and responsive person to rent from. She has made everything super easy and comfortable. Having a fully furnished place with a nice kitchen for cooking made my assignment while working at the local hospital a breeze. I would highly recommend staying with M. I would definitely stay here in the future. Oh, and she has two wonderful little pups that always greet me when I come back to the unit. 5/5 stars!

Truly, a home away from home!

AMAZING COTTAGE! You have everything you need there, your own kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and the washer/dryer is just a few steps away from your private oasis. It's tucked away from the street and there's a gate which can be locked to provide added security in addition to the motion sensors throughout the outside of the property. I like that you don't have to share a home or bathroom with other tenants. Another added plus, the landlord. She's as nice as they come, very accommodating and she recently started a garden, growing fresh fruit and vegetables which I'm sure she will share with you if you like fresh produce. She has 2 small dogs and some birds inside her home if you like animals. I highly recommend staying here, not too small, not too big, just right for one person.

Amazing Cottage

I cant say enough about my experience staying in the cottage! It has everything to make you feel right at home. It was very clean and stocked with all the essentials. The property owner is the sweetest soul. Quick with responses & ensuring you have everything you need. I could not recommend this property enough!!

Home away from home!

This property is absolutely perfect! It is well decorated, and comes with all the amenities and comforts of home. This property is quiet and tucked away and offers lots of privacy. I was initially concerned that the laundry room is detached (i.e., not in the unit), but found that it has been SUPER convenient to do my laundry. This is hands down one of my favorite properties that I've stayed in. The property owner is the cherry on top! She is very quick to respond and willing to do whatever is necessary for you to be comfortable and to feel at home. I would definitely stay here again, if I'm ever back in the area. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to rent in Bakersfield and even Delano. I was at a hospital in Delano, CA, and it was an easy 30min commute.
