Piece of Home

From the second i walked into the house i was welcomed with warm smiles and peaceful greetings. Avra and Kareem are wonderful souls which opened their house to me for 8 months. I walked into my room and was greeted with such an amazing view of sunset cliffs! The balacony on top was just the cherry on top to have such a relaxing evening. Avra and Kareems generosity did not go unnoticed, often they would offer dinner, snacks and/or coffee when i was heading out. and dont forget about their lovely pups Luna and Rory who love as much affection your willing to give them. highly recommend if your needing a place to stay for a few months!

Great location, amazing host

Avra has a beautiful house with an amazing sunset view. Very clean house with a full kitchen. Room and bath was also clean and lovely. Anything you would need in your stay, she has it. Great neighborhood close to pretty proximities even taking a walk outside of the house is very relaxing. I would be asking to stay at hers if I ever get to travel to San Diego again.

The bar is very high now

This was my first stay using furnished finder and it set the bar incredibly (and possibly unattainably) high. The location, property and reviews were the first things that stood out to me before booking and let me tell you, the sunset views alone are worth it. I work from home and while I lived here, I would work in private in my room, or I'd work on the rooftop and enjoy the views. There’s also a nice backyard space where you can work. The location and property are superb, but the host family is the cherry on top! Avra and her family have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and like family. They are also excellent cooks and bakers, and I’d often take on the tough task of ‘quality control’ taste testing ;) They also have two adorable, well-behaved, friendly dogs. I cannot recommend these hosts and this property enough. Book it, you will not regret it!

Amazing find, great location

The property is amazing! I absolutely loved my stay! The amenities were great! I had everything I need and some! AVRA and Kareem are so kind and make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. They gave great ideas of things to do and see. They were my landlords but became great friends for life! The location is easy to get to the main highways so commuting to work was easy! Super close to sunset cliffs for daily walks!

The Only Place to Stay in SD

I was incredibly lucky to find and stay at this place. Located in Sunset Hills/Ocean Beach area, which is my absolute favorite neighborhood in all of San Diego. It's very walkable and close to yoga and coffee shops, but it's also in a private and quiet neighborhood. The house itself is just stunning. Rooftop views of the ocean, a pristine kitchen with every appliance imaginable, and just an overall warm decorating scheme. I really felt right at home. The best part of this property were the owners and their sweet doggies. Avra and Kareem took such great care of me and made me feel so safe, loved and welcomed. There were many nights where I planned to go to bed early and just ended up staying up late having great conversations with them over tea or a snack. They're the best people you will ever meet. If and when I'm back in SD, I'll always come back here!

Absolute gem!!!

This has been a phenomenal experience. The hosts are super kind, friendly and provide a great experience in their home. They are generous in their hospitality where you feel like you are truly being welcomed in the space. Speak of the space!!!!! Ocean views from the rooms?!?!?! A full on ocean view from the terrace!!!???!!!! The rooms are a very great size and offer what you'd typically want in any space (spaciousness, comfortable bedding, cleanliness, huge kitchen). They (and their adorable dogs) create a sense of ease to feel at home and have become great friends. The neighborhood is quiet, so close to the ocean (only a 7 minute walk down the hill) and I find it to be a truly magical place. I've traveled a lot, stayed in many an Airbnb-type place and this has been one of the best stays in that experience. Feeling super grateful for the chance to have found such a gem in their home and most importantly in the hosts. If I were an influencer, I would say RUN DON'T WALK :-)

Felt like Family!

Avra's Sunset Hills spot was the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. The stunning view was a constant delight, and the easy access to both bustling beaches and peaceful neighborhoods made it ideal for relaxation and exploration. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, treating me like family. We shared delicious meals from various cuisines, creating unforgettable dining experiences. The thoughtful parting gift, filled with aromatic Arabic coffee and zatar, was a lovely touch. I highly recommend Avra's place to anyone seeking a warm and inviting home base.

I had a fantastic stay at the his property, the landlords are super friendly and welcoming. The dogs are very cute, lovely and well behaved. The ocean views from the house, especially the rooftop terrace are stunning and unmatched. The neighbourhood, Sunset Cliffs, is in my opinion the greatest place to live in San Diego.

Absolutely Wonderful!

I travel for work a lot and this has been my favorite short term stay to date. The home is beautiful and spacious with incredible views of the ocean. I didn't miss a single San Diego sunset from the front porch, or my favorite, the rooftop deck. Just a short walk to the iconic Sunset Cliffs and a little further to Ocean Beach for restaurants, bars, and the beach. The owners were very warm and welcoming and their dogs were the sweetest part of my stay. My room and bathroom were very private, spacious and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, vacation-like, work trip.

Truly the BEST!

I can not rate this property highly enough the hosts are absolutely wonderful! The home is spacious and comfortable and in such a beautiful location. And, the puppies are adorable! I had the best time during my stay, truly a 10/10. Feel so lucky to have found this property!

Mini vacation!

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. They maintained an immaculate household with weekly cleanings. The property itself is gorgeous with breathtaking ocean views from every bedroom and the roof deck. I enjoyed the easy access to Sunset Cliffs for daily runs and walks. The neighborhood always felt extremely safe. Treat yourself to a beautiful family oceanside home, over booking an old tiny apartment, and book this place! Sending a big thank you to the hosts for having me! :)

Perfect Home Away From Home

My stay at this property was perfect for my assignment at KP-Zion Medical Center/KP-San Diego Medical Center. The property is very centrally located being in Point Loma, so it was an easy commute to the hospitals as well as checking out places to eat and things to do in San Diego. The ocean views from the home are absolutely breathtaking, and I loved the rooftop patio for unwinding and taking in all those beautiful sunsets! As a solo traveler, it was important for me to feel safe where I would be staying and that my privacy was respected. I worked night shift, and the home was quiet, comfortable, and I had no problems sleeping. A & K are the most kind and gracious hosts and their dogs are so sweet and gentle. Thanks again for hosting me! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and miss you guys!
