First place I stayed after driving half way across the country. The owners didn't miss a beat and being so far from home I felt safe and truly cared for. It was beyond refreshing to return to after a long day of work; my safe place if you will. The owners are so welcoming and truly gems. I would have stayed longer if contract allowed. Their dog Buddy will always hold a special place in my heart, truly my favorite part of the day. Not to mention the beautiful views and quietness this place has to offer. I've traveled a lot and you're truly missing out if you pass this place up. Would gladly return if given the chance again. They're forever family to me!

Perfect Home

I spent one month at this property while working at a hospital in Albany and it was a delightful place to rest after a long day. The hosts are wonderfully kind individuals. They had everything I needed. And the views from the property are gorgeous. I would gladly stay here again.

Like staying with family

Quiet daylight apartment in the country with the sweetest couple youll ever meet. I worked night shift at SLCH. It was an easy 15-20 min drive to and from work. B and D were the perfect hosts. They provided blackout curtains to help me sleep better and were always available if/when needed. B even helped me air up my tire a few times when I got a nail in it. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay during my contract. Id definitely return if I come back to Oregon.

Staying at B and D's place in the rural area of Albany, Oregon has been a great pleasure. Close to the town of Albany, the place gives you a real feeling of being right in the unique and longtime American tradition of northwest agriculture in the famous Willamette Valley, while still having the amenities of the metropolitan city of Portland close by. I couldn't have been more pleased, or felt more comfortable with these gracious hosts. They were always available almost instantly, and were very accommodating. Supplies for the apartment were ample, and the place is quite comfortable. There is a westerly view from the sitting room, giving sunset views. The residence is located between beautiful grass, wheat, and flower fields and within a short walking distance of a calm, relaxing stretch of the Santiam river where I saw a few swimmers.This smooth section of the river beckons skimming stones on a lazy day. I plan to stay here again when I visit this richly blessed region.
