Outdated building with a bigot owner

First off you have zero privacy with the landlord living in the building. It is completely outdated and smells like mold and shit upstairs. On top of that when we moved into do the two-bedroom apartment the bed in the master bedroom bed was broken. I am a bigger man and was told from our company who we rented the unit from that I was too fat and I broke the bed and I would not be receiving my deposit back. This woman is disgusting, she is like the town of Kingsport and completely out of touch and out of date. Do not rent here. Stay far far away. The motorcycles on broad Street are obnoxious, the drunk rednecks at 2:00 in the morning outside your windows are obnoxious, that is if you are lucky enough to get a unit with a window because most of them do not have outside windows and it actually feels like a jail cell. With the Warden living in the house it really does deem itself appropriate. Stay as far away from this place and this woman as possible.

Wonderful stay!

This apartment could not have been better for us! It is located in a beautifully decorated building right in the heart of Kingsport. Numerous restaurants, as well as the hospital are within walking distance. The apartment is well-equipped and super clean, and having a garage is a huge bonus. Madge is wonderful host! She really makes you feel at home and is extremely responsive to any needs. She is the the epitome of Tennessee hospitality! There is no better place to stay in Kingsport for traveling professionals - we HIGHLY recommend it.

I couldnt have asked for a better experience during my stay with Madge and Eddie. From the start, the space was aesthetically pleasing, very clean, and felt just like homereminding me of my own personal residence. Madge went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. She was incredibly accommodating, offering thoughtful touches like a bike for my commute to work and even giving me a ride to the grocery store. On a couple of occasions when I needed assistance in the residence, Madge responded quickly and handled everything without hesitation. The location is fantasticright in the heart of downtown, close to plenty of shops, restaurants, and just a short 10-minute walk to the hospital, which is ideal for fellow traveling clinicians. My time here was very pleasant. The only reason I didnt extend my stay was because my professional contract ended. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, pleasant, and affordable place to live.

Pleasant Property

I worked at the hospital on contract for my stay, and I had a wonderful experience. I was looking for a one bedroom with a full kitchen for me and my 7lb pup and we found a second home here. Never felt unsafe. Wonderful neighbors both on 2 and 4 legs. Quiet area and I was never disturbed which was a must working 12 hour shifts. If I have to come back for work, I'll definitely be looking to stay here again.

The best spot in Kingsport!

I just want to start off by saying how great M and E are! My husband and I travel for work and we usually stay in airbnb but after prices continuously just went up we couldn't do it. I googled and found M and E and we are so blessed to have found the lofts at 220 Broad St! They are so spacious, clean, and close to everything in the tri-city area! We were sad to leave and if we ever go back we'll definitely be staying with M, E, and can't forget their sweet pup Lady!

Awesome!

We arrived 9-1-22 our loft is absolutely beautiful. E and M are so welcoming and kind, coming from California to a place site unseen Ive never felt so much at home. Their entire building is beautiful . Our plan was for 3 months weve not been here a month yet and extended our lease. I highly recommend 220 broad street. Ive been fortunate to see many of the lofts and they are all beautiful and inviting. Great restaurants and shopping right out your front door, all within walking distance. Plus lots a great history as well. Kingsport is a very nice place all amenities you could ask for. !

Home away from home

This immaculate suite is very spacious and beautifully decorated with three large closets in the master bedroom and was my perfect home away from home for nearly 2 years. The building is very secure with password entrance and camera secured parking, providing a very safe space for my early morning and late evening travels. The building is very centrally located near restaurants, hospitals, a diverse group of churches and many local festivals and concerts. I saved the best for last, the property owners are awesomely wonderful. They are welcoming and neighborly and on the rare occasion when issues needed to be addressed, they were prompt in rectifying any issue. I am so thankful they made my stay a true home away from home.

Lofts 304 and 305

All three units (303,304,305) are very well designed with quality construction. The landlord maintains these units to the highest standard with same day response to any maintenance needs. Great location on Broad Street in downtown Kingsport with walking access to great restaurants and many businesses. Access to the lofts is inside the building with security code access to the main building. Free parking in City parking garage gives easy and best access to the loft apartments of any apartments in the downtown area. All you need is an internet account - everything else you need is included in the monthly rent - hassle free living!

Clean, neat, safe, and convenient

We rented at this location for several years until be bought a place. The place is well maintained. It is in the heart of the old downtown that is busy and vibrant. The parking garage is located behind the building and is ideal. When we had normal maintenance issues, there was quick and efficient response. I highly recommend this location.

Loft 305

My husband and I have have rented two properties located in 220 Broad Street - the latest being Loft 305. The building owners are exceptional individuals - kind, attentive, generous, and professional. We are so grateful to have the opportunity know and spend a little time with them. The building is extremely well maintained and decorated. The Lofts are each unique, comfortable and inviting. We rarely encountered any issues - in the rare instances we did - they were resolved within a 24 hour period. We have a dog and there is a dog park nearby as well as plenty of sidewalks and green-spaces within the downtown and adjacent neighbors to enjoy a pleasant walk. The area has several restaurants, shopping and activities (outdoor concerts, festivals, events) to enjoy throughout the year. Parking is easy, safe and monitored by cameras. Loft 305 is accessible by an elevator or stairs - the hallways are wide and the building is safely secured, monitored and accessible only by occupants/tenants.
