The bedroom has beautiful exposed brick and a sliding door closet. This is a basement apartment, but ...
You walk around to the back of the house and enter at your separate entrance. You will enter into our shared laundry room then you will enter into the apartment. You have a storage closet and a coat closet on the right hand side in the bathroom on the left-hand side. Then you will open to the open layout kitchen. Green Lake is great for walking, birding, paddle boarding/kayaking. There are cute restaurants, coffee shops, bars/breweries, grocery stores, and it even has its own little community theater. It is a great launching off neighborhood as it is close to the freeway and the highway.
Lucky find!!!
I feel so lucky to have found such a positive and comfortable environment to call home while on a nursing assignment at UW Northwest. The hospital was a 5 minute commute. Claire and Kris are kind and respectful and always available when you need them. The place itself is so nice you have blackout curtains if you work nights but if open u get great natural light . It was nice having a storage closet, coat rack, bathroom storage as well as dresser and big closet. The decor makes it feel like home. Kris and Claire go above and beyond for their guests! They feel like your kind neighbors rather than landlords. Kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook. They even added a led light strip on the walkway back to the gate when I mentioned it was a little dark. They’re really awesome!! They had a lot of books and a list personal recs. You can’t beat the area. It felt safe going on my walks to Greenlake and Pacha (best coffee shop IMO). Couldn’t recommend a stay here enough.
Hard to beat this place!!!
My WFH partner & I stayed here for 4 months while on contact at Seattle Children's. Simply put, we adored it. We had our own entrance to the garden unit, access to Claire & Kris's flourishing backyard, less than 10 min walk to greenlake and public transit to the hospital. Also, they're located minutes away from I5 for easy weekend/weekday trips. The unit is so spacious. There is a huge closet in the bedroom, a work from home desk, the kitchen is fully stocked, washer/dryer right outside the unit (along with bike storage), and overall just feels clean. Would definitely recommend to stay here for optimal greenlake exploring, it's seriously such an incredible find!! Claire & Kris are the best!!
truly is a greenlake gem
C and K's apartment is so homey and spacious. It has all the basic necessities (and then some), ample storage, great water pressure and great natural light in the summer/when the sun is out. The location cant be beat, you can easily walk to PCC/restaurants/greenlake and the highway is only a few minutes away so getting to harborview never took more than 10/15 minutes. You have your own entrance through the laundry room and sharing the W/D was never a problem. There was plenty of street parking in close proximity to the house. I really loved living here and would absolutely stay again if I do another assignment in Seattle. C and K are so kind and easy to get in touch with if needed.
