Stayed 3 months -- was perfect, quiet, and AWESOME experience.
I stayed here about 3 months, and it really is a "stand-alone apartment" type situation. Lots of peace and quiet, very private with it's own entrance. Easy to park by the home -- like literally right out front. Very safe neighborhood. And there's like a giant backyard that's dedicated to me (tenant). I only left because my brother hooked me up with his old rental property. Irene and her husband Kelly are very mellow, and I rarely saw them actually -- when I did they were very friendly! I recommend this place if you're looking for essentially a "small private entrance studio."
Irene was great!
Irene made my stay at Costa Mesa very memorable and pleasant. I had an assignment at CHOC and it was an easy drive. I stayed for about 2 months there. Both Irene and her husband made sure I was comfortable. I stayed at her place before they expanded the private entrance so I can't say much about that part, but I'm sure it's super nice and convenient. They are so warm and kind. The bed was comfy and when it got cold at night, Irene made sure I had the space heater. There's just enough space for my personal belongings. The neighborhood is super safe and walkable to the corner gas station and plaza. I loved how they were so close to Mitsuwa (Japanese grocery store). Her kids were super nice and respectful. She is pretty much like my Aunt now!
