Beautiful quiet home away from home

Mrs. Mary is a highly professional and attentive hostess who always makes you feel welcome and at home. Initially, we rented her place for three months, but we ended up staying for a whole ten months. The place is exceptionally quiet, clean, and offers a hotel-style living experience with comfortable beds and clean linens. The neighborhood is very quiet with excellent neighbors as well. After a long day of work, you simply want a quiet place to rest, and this place is the perfect spot for that.

Lovely cottage

This property is a great home away from home. Mary is a wonderful host. The location is close to everything you need - work, restaurants, and food. There is plenty of storage and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place on the hill

I and my travel partner had the pleasure of being hosted by Mary. The location was perfect for my commute to work at the local hospital in Walnut Creek. The cottage itself was clean and well stocked. The bedrooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. There was plenty of storage. There are multiple ways to enter and exit the unit which makes it great for two people. Its a very safe and quiet community. The view from the property is very nice. Plenty of trees. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, a great deal. the host was accommodating for all of our request. And checked in periodically to make sure that things were OK.

Peaceful, Quiet, and Comfortable

I had a great stay with M. I stayed here for a few months when I took time off for a surgery and recovery, in between my traveling contracts. The cottage is situated in a beautiful and safe neighborhood in the lovely Lafayette hills. The cottage is surrounded by trees, and there are walking paths and a trailhead less than 10 minutes walk away. I had everything I needed to be comfortable in the cottage and more. A/C is a dream in the summer. Everything was very well stocked. Laundry in house was super convenient. I especially loved spending the mornings at the front patio, and seeing deer and hearing birds. M is also an amazing, warm hostess. She is very accommodating and communicating with her was open and easy. My family and friends visited me throughout my recovery and M was very understanding and supportive. Thanks for your kindness and for everything! I would definitely stay here again and couldnt recommend it more highly.

Cozy home away from home

Great stay with M!! Unfortunately our stay was cut short although we intended to stay 3 mths. M was super understanding and accommodating! I would stay again. My bed was comfy, bathroom clean and great water pressure in the shower. Each room has a small fridge. Only one with a tiny freezer. I liked the convenience of the hot plate and convection oven. I made an avocado toast almost daily and or popped something in the microwave to reheat. Every morning there are deer that meet u by the carport!! Thx again M for the nature adventure!! Pleasant Hill

Great rental property that is comfortable, safe, and private. The rental is well kept and very clean. Hiking trails and shopping are close by. M is very nice and available for any questions you might have about the area and is very attentive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to anyone looking to rent!

Perfect place and location. M was amazing to work with. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Very Quiet, close to everything. Beautiful area. Close to many hiking places.

Outstanding two-bedroom apartment in a safe, quiet neighborhood

This property was extraordinarily clean and well suited to myself and my roommate. We each had our own queen bed, large screen television, mini-fridge, closet, chest and either a large sofa or easy-chair in our rooms. Another very amazing experience was having off-street parking a safe neighborhood. M, our host, could not have been more gracious. She checked in with us frequently to make sure all was fine and became a great friend. We didnt want to leave but I was transferred to another work location so we had to go. Great experience! Lovely property, stayed as a travel nurse for a few months. Beautiful views and wonderful sunsets. Very comfortable queen size beds. Washer and dryer was a huge plus when you are traveling for work! Private entrance and the host was excellent and very responsive to any requests. I highly recommend this property for all your travel needs.

Peaceful retreat

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's. We found her to be friendly, communicative, available when we needed and scare when we wanted lol. The property is on a quiet, treelined street up on a hill. As a night shift worker, I never had an issue sleeping during the day. Reasonably priced, quiet, and peaceful home away from home. 10/10 would recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very Comfortable

This place was enjoyable and it had everything I needed along with a washer and dryer. It was very clean and functional and I felt at home here. There is an air fryer in the kitchen which was perfect for me to cook in. It has the best bed Ive ever slept in and all the linens are top quality. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. M was very respectful and attentive to my needs or requests and made the move in/move out process super easy. The area is peaceful, quiet and very safe. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and a wonderful hiking trail less than half a mile away.

The property is super nice, clean and well stocked. It has a washer and dryer which is a big benefit. It has everything you could need. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The landlord, Mrs. M, was always helpful and attentive to our needs. Shes very nice and would reach out to see if we need anything. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Cozy cottage

Lovely homeowner who shares her home - the separate downstairs area has 2 well-appointed rooms - lots of light - best bed Ive slept in! Tons of storage. Kitchen separates the rooms and it is well-equipped. The bathroom shower has amazing pressure - feels great after a work day! M, the landlord, is more than willing to accommodate any special needs and very attentive to make your stay comfortable and easy! It was a pleasure staying here.
