A safe, abundant, gem

While living in this flat, it has been nothing but the best experience. Not only is the flat just the right amount of space for one person, it is furnished with anything you'd ever need (and if you are missing anything, just ask!). If you've lived in Chicago or any city before, you know having a decent yard is hard to find - Well, this is above and beyond. Kathy is an amazing gardener, there is a great fire pit, and a nice table with umbrella to relax under. There is also a very convenient grocery store a 5 minutes walk away and the Blue Line is 12. I have never felt unsafe or unheard, and I will truly truly miss it and Kathy.

Home away from Home

K's home is the perfect space for a traveler to find a new home away from home. I loved living in this studio and honestly miss having K as a landlady. She was the sweetest, kindest woman and provided more than enough amenities for me. The studio has plenty of space, and the decor and amenities provided made living here easy. Her garden is also the most beautiful space to sit outside once the weather warms. The home is near plenty of restaurants and the train station is about a 15 minute walk away. The neighborhood is also very quiet and friendly.

Absolutely Perfect!

I stayed here for my final year of college and it ended up being the best place I could have possibly found. The owner is such a kind person and she made sure I had everything I could possibly need. She keeps the house and yard clean and beautiful. The backyard is gorgeous and has several places to lounge and enjoy the greenery. Parking is pretty easy, even in the winter I never had to park more than a half block away. The neighborhood has tons of great restaurants, including a great Mexican place a few houses down. The grocery store is only a block away, too. The apartment is spacious. The kitchen counter, sink, cabinets, and fan were put in just before I arrived and the owner checked in to make sure that everything was working well for me. The a/c and heat is powerful and easy to turn on/off. Mail was easy. The laundry is free. The WiFi always worked well and I had online classes that required us to be on Zoom for hours. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!
