Home away from home

I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at this property. The location was very convenient, with easy access to grocery stores, the mall, and the highway. I stayed as a solo traveler for a few weeks before my husband joined me, and I always felt safe. We enjoyed taking daily walks around the neighborhood. The front-door parking space was definitely a highlight and made things even more convenient. The accommodations are modern, clean, and very comfortable. Everything I needed was either already available in the unit or quickly provided upon request, which made my stay even more seamless. I would absolutely rent this unit again if I need a place in the area. The landlord was professional and responsive to any inquiries, needs, or concerns throughout my stay.

Great Stay!

This place was great for a travel contract in the area! All the appliances are new, Joaquin is always available and very nice! Extra accommodating and has nice little touches like a keurig and blackout curtains for us night shifters. Thanks Joaquin! Would definitely recommend.

Modern Smart Apartment-Centrally located in San Fernando Valley

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was great for the two of us and was just like the pictures. It was very clean and the neighborhood is nice and quiet too. It had everything we needed including a dishwasher and the in-unit laundry was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable and the room darkening shades were great. A recent addition is the adjustable desk/coffee table that was perfect for our laptop. We also appreciated the dedicated off-street parking. Joaquin was a spectacular host. We had a very late night booking and arrival, but he was extremely accommodating and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Nothing short of excellence

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience staying at this residence. In regards to the location of the residence, it is in a good area, on a quiet street, which is situated w/in a 1 mile radius to 4 major freeways (405/118/170/5 fwy). In regards to the residence itself, the quality of craftmanship that was put into this home was simply amazing. The layout is open, all appliances were stainless steel and brand new, there is a private bedroom and the washer/dryer, which is a rare find, was clutch. In regards to the landlord, I have nothing but great things to say about this man. He has a great personality, is very kind, very quiet, very respectful of my privacy and was very prompt to reply to any of my needs/questions I had. The place is very clean and all of the furniture very modern. Would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this residence to others. Hands down the nicest residence w/ the most accomodating landlord I've found on this site.

Clean and Modern ADU Centrally Located in the Valley

I read the other negative review, but the review didn't match the pictures that I saw of the listing, so I decided to give it a shot because it was in the right location for us. I wanted to share our experience because we had a totally different one from the other renter. TLDR; our experience was that we found a clean, quiet, well-maintained, and fully equipped space with a great landlord. I would definitely stay here again! From the get-go the landlord was super responsive and helpful. He was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating to get a tour of the place arranged. During our entire stay, he was very responsive and friendly. He responded to our texts right away and would address any of our concerns the same day or within 24 hours. We had no problem with our rent payments or deposit. The unit itself is a recently converted ADU, clean, modern, and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen has all modern appliances, including a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig machine, dishwasher, and also a washer and dryer. There were dishes and pots and pans and utensils. We had all the basics we needed. If you're missing anything there's a Marshalls and a Walgreens just a few minutes away and you can easily pick up items there. The bathroom is modern with a great walk-in shower that has excellent water pressure and consistent hot watera major plus! We had no problem with the drain. The bedroom is separate and has room darkening shades. The mattress is super comfy and supportive. The property is on a nice, quiet street with no through traffic, so the neighborhood is quiet for being in a big city. The location is greatjust a 10-minute drive to CSUN, a few minutes from several freeways, and 15-25 minutes from nearly anywhere in the Valley, including Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital. Its also super convenient for getting to Glendale, Burbank, or Hollywood. Walgreens is within walking distance or a 3-minute drive and grocery stores like Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Vons, and Ralphs are also about a 10-15 minute short drive away. There are a lot of shopping and dining options nearby. The WiFi was great and fast. Both my husband and I work remote and depend on the internet and we had no problems with the WiFi. For entertainment, theres a large flat-screen TV with a sound system and access to Netflix and other streaming services as well as a couch to lounge on. Parking is easy and safe with a dedicated spot in the driveway. Additionally, the unit has a dedicated mailing address, so we could easily receive our mail and packages. This was a great spot for a short-term stay and if we needed a spot for a longer term stay, this would be an ideal location. I just wanted to provide a balanced review as we had a great experience here and I would definitely recommend this location to others.

He will keep some of your deposit!

If you're going to rent this place, here are some things to keep in mind. When you arrive do a thorough walk through and take pictures. I'm talking, small spots on the couch, thorough! If you don't, he will find something to blame you for and keep some of your deposit. The place is not clean, I'm talking hair in the bathroom, old food in the fridge, cobwebs everywhere! There are no pans for you to use so if you plan on cooking you will need to bring your own. Most of the time you'll have lukewarm water to shower so if you like hot water, forget it... if you work days and shower before work... you will be COLD! While you shower the drain is super slow so it fills with water, annoying! Only ONE towel so bring your own. The toilet backs up a lot, no worries because there is a plunger conveniently placed right next to the toilet. Forget about WIFI, it rarely worked! He kept 150 dollars on top of his clean fee for a tiny spot on the couch that if someone was cleaning, could easily remove!
