Quiet Neighborhood, Responsive Property Owner

We had to find a place to stay prior to moving into our new house. The host was excellent and helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We received a list of places to visit and restaurants in the area. While we were there, we had a few questions about the St. Louis Zoo, the host was responsive and provided us with great information. I was able to walk to continue my walking routine at a nearby park. If I sell my house again and need a place to stay, this will be first on my list (hopefully I don't have to sell anytime soon...lol).

Ok place to stay near several parks

Property was nice. They charge a non refundable cleaning deposit and we still ended up cleaning place ourselves hence the three stars. It was hair and all kind of things in the couch and the rooms were very dusty. Other than that it was decent and livable. Also the bed in the front room is uncomfortable.

I'm sorry your stay was below satisfactory. I would never want a guest to have to clean the property so being aware of all of the issues would have allowed me the opportunity to not only reconcile the situation but also to address the cleaning service in a prompt manner. I was only made aware of dirt under the couches in which I apologized and offered to clean it properly however, a guest at the property insisted on doing it himself. Also I am sorry you were not able to get a good night's rest. I try to accommodate my guests by having mattresses that have a firm side as well as a softer side. You may have been on the side that did not properly support your body, however I was not made aware of this concern.
