Great Stay in Metairie

I greatly enjoyed my stay here for several weeks in October and November 2022. Very clean, quiet, beautiful apartment over the owners home. Youll have your own private entrance and good on street parking. Nice location and safe neighborhood in Metairie. Great access to restaurants/shopping with short distance into New Orleans. Easy check in/out. Great communication with hospitable hosts.

Our stay

This is a very clean and nice apartment, however, it is the top floor of the owners house. That being said, there are quite a few rules that need to be followed. Guests need to be approved in advance and need to be added into the lease ahead of time. The landlord is not at all accepting of service animals or emotional support animals despite the owners having a service dog in the downstairs residence that barks quite often. The landlord also did come up into our apartment without our permission while we were not home. Although he was very responsive if is something is wrong, we will not be staying here again due to the unsafe environment created when bringing in our own well trained service animal.
