Wonderful studio apartment w/ perfect location
This studio apartment was the ideal place for me to stay for my summer internship. Located right in the center of Palo Alto, you have close access to everything that you need (right down the street from Trader Joes and Stanford). The owner is great and very quick to respond with any issues. The neighborhood is quiet and there are frequent events going on at Rinconada Park (a two minute walk from the apartment). If you are looking to stay in Palo Alto, this is the place you want!
Excellent, cozy home in the heart of Palo Alto
I stayed in this cozy cottage for 9 months, and it was the most perfect place I could have found. It's fully furnished with a comfortable bed, desk area, storage, and kitchenette (sink, microwave, good-sized refrigerator, portable induction burner, toaster oven, and electric kettle). It had everything I needed to live comfortably, although it's most comfortable for just one person. The cottage feels big and airy because of the high ceilings and windows, and the air conditioner was a godsend on very hot days. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and the cottage is situated in a gorgeous garden with regular hummingbird visits. This place is also centrally located. I didn't have a car, but I could bike easily to/from Stanford, Trader Joe's, and other shops. There's also a bus stop around the corner for easy transport around town, plus two parks and a library in the neighborhood. Susan is fantastic and very responsive as a landlord. I can't recommend this cottage enough.
