Third Floor of Historic Home

I had a wonderful time staying at Emily's property! Emily (and her mom, kids, and sweet pets) is a warm, welcoming, and receptive host. The property is lovely with a lively collection of games and artwork by the kids and comfortable with all amenities. The neighborhood is peaceful and ideally located near Henry Ford Hospital and downtown Detroit. I would without question stay here again. Highly recommended!

Peaceful space in gorgeous historic home

I feel very fortunate to have stayed in this beautiful space during a time of transition. Im a nurse, going through a separation/ divorce. I had originally planned to stay 3 months, but ended up staying a year. The home owner/ host E has been kind and honest. Her beautiful 100 year old home is full of plants, cats, a friendly dog, and two terrific kiddos. I had my privacy and space, and also lots of life and energy in the home. The neighborhood is full of gorgeous historic homes, no two are alike. I loved walking my small dog in the neighborhood. There are two parks within walking distance, and a great cafe/ wine bar and craft brewery. Very close to New Center, Henry Ford Hospital, midtown. Ample street parking. Neighbors are friendly. I really enjoyed my time here.

A Delightful Find!

I have loved staying at this property! It's a lovely house in an historic Detroit neighborhood, and the host is very kind and attentive. The living quarters are spacious and comfortable. If I am ever back in Detroit for work, I will definitely stay here again if it is available! Highly recommend.

Very accomodating and amazing host. Great location and amenites!

The owner of this property is probably one of the kindest people Ive met. Her response time is quite fast, and her instructions are crystal clear. The place was absolutely beautiful and I loved every moment of my stay. The restroom is well equipped, the house is bright and spacious with enough closet. The bed is so comfortable. Love it! Awesome kitchen amenities. Has an in-house washer & dryer. Lots of parking available. Close to shopping & restaurants including a coffeehouse within walking distance. Quick highway access to hospitals, Whole Foods, and downtown Detroit. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave.
