Don’t rent this place

Sofia was friendly and helpful during our stay. However when she returned my deposit, she still charged us an extra $100 cleaning fee, $35 for a new set of pots, and $50 for new bed sheets. When we arrived we found a dog bone under the sofa, dust in many corners, and the laundry room full of spider webs with sheets everywhere. The apartment only had two pots when we arrived, one was fine and the other was already broken, yet she claimed we were responsible. It honestly felt like she wanted to renovate the place using my deposit. The area is safe and the heating system somewhat works okay, but the internet went down every 2–3 days and the noise from other apartments was very loud. The place also lacked silverware and kitchen equipment, and the closet door was broken. We left the apartment as instructed (from her check out policies) without cleaning, yet we were still charged. For $3650 + $186 deducted from my deposit, this was a very disappointing stay in Little Italy. Not recommended.

Safe Area close to UH

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The area was perfect for my stay, it was in a quiet and safe area with a great strip of Italian restaurants a couple blocks down. I walked to work (UH Cleveland) when I stayed here.
