Perfect home away from home!

This garden apartment was exactly what I was looking for in my Chicago stay: a beautiful brownstone flat in a quiet residential neighborhood just a few blocks to the brown line, the grocery store and the restaurants/shops at Lincoln Square. A combination of the brown line and a short walk or bus ride got me to Lurie Childrens Hospital downtown in 35 minutes. Or by car, the drive took 25 minutes. It was so nice to go into the city, do all the city things and come back to such a peaceful place. The apartment itself is spacious with lots of natural light in the living spaces. It is well appointed and nicely decorated with some unique Chicago decor pieces. The kitchen is large with newer appliances and lots of counter space for preparing meals and ample cabinet/drawer space for storage if you bring many of your own kitchen items with you like I do. A large walk in shower in the bathroom has good water pressure and lots of hot water. The bedroom has a large closet and a wardrobe for storage, a comfy king size bed and blackout curtains on deep pocket windows that keep the room amazingly dark for us night shifters. And on my days off it was nice to sit outside or grill in the back yard while visiting with neighbors or the owners, Tom and Kathy. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be checking for availability here first on my next Chicago contract!

Clean, Updated garden unit

This beautiful, recently renovated garden unit exceeded all of my expectations. Very clean unit, and fully furnished as described. I was here for a travel nursing contract and did not know the area at all but this area I felt very safe in. Street parking was never a problem for me, and there is a grocery store at the end of the block! Very convenient! K and T were very accommodating and the few times I had questions they were always prompt in getting back to me. They are very kind and genuine people! I would stay here again if I came back to the Chicago area. Thanks so much for everything!
