Great stay
I stayed at this property for about 6 months during a travel nurse contract and had a great experience. The house is beautiful and provides coffee, cleaning supplies, linens, and towels. Even with multiple tenants in the house, noise and personal space were never an issue. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and quick to address concerns. My only suggestion would be providing more organized move-in, move-out, and house information. As someone who is very particular about cleanliness, I found that common areas, especially the kitchen, depend on tenants cleaning up after themselves, so cleanliness can vary. However, the hosts regularly remind tenants and address issues when needed. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is hard to beat for the price. The area is beautiful, walkable, close to restaurants and grocery stores, and about a 10-minute walk to the Red Line. Overall, I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.
Comfortable accommodations, kind community
I stayed at the row house for 8 months. The place is well taken care of and comfortable. All the other residents were great and a good community in the city. Great for young professionals getting started in DC!
Hidden Gem
I lived here during a summer internship and had an absolutely fantastic experience. It is a beautiful building, conveniently located, quiet, and has very comfortable bedrooms and common areas. Will absolutely stay here again if I need to be in D.C. for an extended visit!
Home Away From Home!
I had an internship in DC this summer and had only ever visited the city before. This property was in a perfect location for me to explore the city ( about 7 minute walk to metro) and walk to my office (10 minute walk). There is also an amazing bookstore/restaurant (Kramers) within walking distance that I frequented a lot! Dupont Circle Metro and all of Dupont's restaurants/stores are walking distance as well. I felt very safe in the apartment and supported by the wonderful landlords. This was my first time living out of state, and I could not have asked for a more hospitable and comfortable experience!
Beautiful DC Townhouse
This has to be one of the most beautiful homes on FF, a true Washington DC experience with a gracious host and hostess, lovely furnishings, and close to Dupont Circle. I would gladly start here again anytime I am in the Nation's Capital
Home away from home
so I stayed in DC on a travel assignment! This house was absolutely charming and every sense of the word. I did stay in the main house, which is absolutely breathtaking. I had my own private bedroom my own private bath along with the use of an extra large kitchen. There are other tenants in the home with you, but its a huge house so you really only come in contact with other people maybe in some of the common areas such as the kitchen or Some of the living spaces that are pretty much open! There is also a communal washer and dryer, but youre only really sharing it with the four or five other people that are living in the home. The location is in the middle of everything you have restaurants and shopping groceries all within walking distance. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. I even walked by myself at night time, mind you I did have mace on me, however, I would carry mace if I walked through any neighborhood at night time ! With that said, I never felt in danger in any way shape or form in the neighborhood! Highly highly recommend super friendly staff you really have your own auto autonomy. They do request you to sign in any visitors. I stayed on the fourth floor. There is no elevator so you do need to be able to walk the flight of stairs. I worked at MedSTAR Washington, which was about a 15 to 20 minute drive working the 7a to 7p shift again as I said before highly recommend very comfortable you literally feel like youre at home. They do supply linens and pillows for the bedding and also do you have towels for bathing! There is a communal refrigerator in the kitchen, we would just label a portion of the refrigerator and thats where we would keep our items on the shelf so you had to be mindful that there are other tenants. Youre sharing the refrigerator with so its not like you could buy more than a couple days worth of groceries which is not a problem considering they have two major grocery stores not even 10 minute walk from the house. If I ever take another travel assignment back to DC or was even coming for vacation. I would absolutely stay again. It truly was a home away from home.
The most comfortable stay possible
I'd never been in DC before and staying here gave me incredible peace of mind. The location is close to the metro yet very safe. The building is well-maintained, very clean, and very quiet. Housemates are courteous and fun to talk to! I'd definitely stay here again if I returned to DC.
Fantastic Property, Great Location, Kind Host
I will be staying at this beautiful row house again. 15 minute walk from the business/Policy district, comfortable room, safe, and very quiet. T is really kind and accessible. What a gem!!
Amazing location and property
This property is amazing to stay in with a gorgeous and historic space to live in. The surrounding area is perfect too! 5min walk from Metro station & 10min walk to the downtown DuPont bars and restaurants. Amazing!
Great location and home
This beautiful home was a great find! I stayed in one of the wood-paneled rooms for over two months, and it was a very comfortable and convenient place for me to land while I spent the summer in D.C. This home is clean, well-furnished, and well-stocked. It was also a quiet and pleasant place to stay. And it was also just a few blocks away from the Dupont Circle metro station, which was a huge convenience. I highly recommend staying here.
Best DuPont Circle stay
This is my second time staying at this amazing house and I always had the best experiences imaginable. The house is located just couple blocks from the DuPont circle metro, several restaurants also walking distance to many of the monuments and attractions in DC. The historical house (from the 1800s) is very well kept, and decorated with so much history and always very clean. I felt very safe staying at Teddys place and the other guests were very respectful (not loud noises or parties allowed) and I had plenty of privacy. The WiFi is strong, I never had any issues. My bedroom was nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable (Linens and towels are provided by the host) The shared kitchen is spacious and have everything you need to cook a delicious meal from pots/pans to seasonings. There is a rooftop terrace so you can relax. Teddy made sure I had a fantastic stay! He is very responsive host, available for any questions or just a nice conversation. I 100% recommend Ts place!
