The neighborhood is known for its safety, historic charm, and plentiful street parking. Great space and location
The apartment is the upper floor in a great area of Richmond, ‘the fan’ which is super walkable with great restaurants and a block away from the pulse (free bus down Broad St to get to you VCU campus and medical center. The property is well kept, clean, and inviting. The apartment had just about everything I needed and good storage. There are communal supplies in the entry like a vacuum and the washer dryer, which makes chores super convenient. Aldi is just a couple blocks away and Whole Foods is a bus stop away. Street parking was never an issue. Jon was great to work with, always super helpful with any information I needed. I also had a rogue package that arrived after I left, which he kindly forward for me. I would 100% rent from him again regardless of the unit knowing he keeps the properties so well. I would rent this again for the location and convenience
Great Central Location!!!
As new transplants, my wife and I were looking for a great location in Richmond as a home base from which we could house-hunt, and this place fit the bill 100%! If you are looking for a furnished rental in the heart of Richmond, this home is ideal. Its just off stunning Monument Avenue in a beautiful, residential neighborhood. Located in the historic Fan district, this property is a short walk to the Museum District, Carytown and Scotts Addition, and a short ride to Downtown, Shockoe Bottom and Belle Isle among many other must-see neighborhoods and sites. It is also a short walk to Aldi and Whole Foods, a short drive to Publix and Trader Joes, and within walking distance of many fine restaurants, breweries and music venues. Because Unit 1 is a 2-bdrm duplex and has a small private patio and garage, you have the genuine feel and comfort of residing in your home, not just an apartment. Street parking is also very easy to find if needed. The property is well-maintained, and the landlord is extremely responsive, always quick to address any issues that may arise. Eventually, my wife and I found a home to purchase right in the Fan. Otherwise, we would probably still be here, happily residing at 2617 W. Grace Street!
great location
Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and museums. Landlord is very helpful and responsive. Only downside is that it can be hard to find parking on the same block on weekends, especially in the evenings.
Great place to stay!
The location of this house is unbeatable - residential and quiet enough for my dogs, but easily walkable to restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, etc. It is a 3-minute walk to the Pulse bus stop, which was fast and reliable (and free!) and drops off right in front of VCU hospital. J is very responsive and easy-going. The private patio and garage was also a huge bonus! The house has baseboard heating that just couldn't keep up with very cold days, but this is to be expected in an older house. Additionally, the furniture wasn't the most comfortable and I would prefer a larger size bed, but it's definitely doable for a few months. Overall, our stay was great and I would be happy to rent from J again!
Great location!
This unit is a perfect location for everything Richmond has to offer on a nice residential street just off of historic Monument Ave. I was able to walk to so many restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops while living here. Definitely an older apartment but that is pretty typical for the Fan neighborhood. Its a great unit for seeing all that the city has to offer!
Great Location - Amazing Property!
I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to live in the heart of Richmond. It's within walking distance of everything you need, including grocery stores (Aldi and Whole Foods) and restaurants (Guss, The Savory Grain). I lived there for 6 months, and I've never had any problems. The property is well-maintained and the landlord is always quick to address any issues that arise. My favorite room was the sunroom where I was able to work from home. I also love the backyard. It was an excellent place to sit and relax. Attached to the garage that fit my Honda, made it super accessible! Overall, I'm extremely happy with this property. It's a great place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay!
