Loved it!

My husband, my two large dogs, and I stayed at the Treehouse for about 2.5 months and loved it! The living room is so cozy, and I loved working in front of the big windows. The neighborhood was very pleasant to walk our dogs through, and all the neighbors were super friendly and welcoming. All the amenities (including the hot tub) worked great. We would definitely stay here again! It was a great home base from which to explore sonoma county.

A perfect sanctuary

The treehouse is a wonderful home. The house is so welcoming and the yard is something very special. This house became my home for 6 months while on a very difficult work assignment. It was my sanctuary and I loved everything about living there. John is also a fabulous landlord who was very attentive and helpful. Thanks John!

Best place to stay!

The property is beautiful! The house is extremely comfy and inviting, loved our time here. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. John the host is extremely kind, quick to respond and one of the best hosts we have ever experienced. Set in a beautiful location the drive to and from work for my contract was very peaceful. Couldn't ask for better!

Felt like a resort!

This home was like a combination of a warm hug and being at a resort. It combined the rustic charm of a cabin or tree house with the indoor/outdoor living of a resort. We felt that the home was perfectly laid out for working at home. We could be either on the multi-layered decking out back or in the "nest" inside. Both locations offered beautiful views of the trees. We really felt like we were in a tree house. The back decks could be accessed from both the main living space as well as the primary bedroom. We also tremendously enjoyed visiting the numerous vineyards in the area. It was a great location for us! We can't wait to return!

One of the BEST Stays, An Absolute Must

To begin, the area is absolutely beautiful. Tucked away in a lush forest, next to the river, and close to Guerneville and Santa Rosa so everything you need is close by. The house itself is even more breathtaking with all the natural light, privacy, and amenities. Everything from a warm wood fireplace to an expansive back deck with a clean hot tub to relax in. The owner is wonderful too! His responsiveness has been the best Ive ever witnessed when renting a new place. He made sure that we were well taken care of. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, and anyone looking for an amazing place to getaway or stay at for work would be crazy not to stay here.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful area!

The tree house was everything that my family needed! J, the owner, showed us the lot and was always a text away if we needed anything at all! The back porch is heavenly to say the least. Enjoyed the days sitting in sun among trees or in the hot tub looking at the night sky. The fire place was a plus during the winter months! We always love a gas stove and the house was fully stocked. The biggest bathroom in the house is totally remodeled and it was nice. The neighborhood is cute and all the neighbors are super friendly! The location is wonderful right off River Rd. So you are right in the midst of wine country which was a big plus for us! You are close to Redwood forest(10min), Sebastopol (a lovely town, 15 min), Santa Rosa (20 min), and Bodega Bay (30 min). It was a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle, it was just lovely to walk to the corner store, Spears, and talk to the locals! I had a contract at Kaiser and it was a beautiful drive to work day in and day out! We miss this.
