I couldn't have asked for more!

"This place is incredible!" "It's like a cabin in the woods." "You can't find places like this here." "I want to live here!" These are just a few sentiments shared by my dear friends when they came to visit me at the studio! Not only is the space well taken care of, is cozy, has tons of storage, has updated bathroom and kitchen, is bright with 4 gorgeous skylights.... everything (and more) you would need for a good stay (I could go on and on) but what really sweetens it is the landlords are two of the nicest and kindest people I've had the pleasure to meet. They were always super responsive and respectful, and it was clear that they both genuinely cared about my comfort and experience in the studio. I am beyond grateful for my time there. It far exceeded any expectation I might have had before moving in! Thank you, A & J! I will miss you both and the studio!

Gem of Oakland

A and J were beyond accommodating, kind, and so helpful while we stayed at their place. We traveled with two large dogs and a cat and not only were they kind to our pets, but also never once got onto us if our dogs barked. The place itself was beautiful and has all you need for a long stay. Full sized fridge and gas stove, large cooking area, great shower, and plenty of storage space. Their yard was a perfect oasis away from the street and noise that our dogs could run around in and enjoy. We felt safe staying there and enjoyed their home. The space was perfect for what we needed while there and I cannot recommend them enough. We are very thankful they let us stay with them and enjoyed every aspect of living here; not to mention Odin and Ragnar will miss being there.

Working in Oakland? This is the place to stay

This studio has been very much a gem that has been a relaxing and well-equipped temporary place to come home to after high intensity and long hour work days. All of my needs were met--a well-supplied kitchen, very comfortable bed, enough space to do a video workout in, easy parking, in-studio washer/dryer, and a TV to connect my Amazon Firestick with good WiFi. The shower is spacious, and the adjoining patio is well tended with beautiful foliage. A and J have extended their hospitality generously, and I had no need for assistance during my stay, but I know they would have responded quickly. Temporary housing at times has been sometimes "adequate" but not here. This studio is an extension of A and J's home, and they have ensured that this is an absolute comfortable and well appointed setting for a medical professional to relax and rest. In the two years I have been doing contract work, this is the finest temporary housing I have stayed in and I know you will enjoy it as well.
