Great Home
Big spacious upstairs that fees like home. So many great features including a big back porch to watch the Spring weather changing. Perfect temperature inside with ceiling fans and windows. Barely needed central air. Great kitchen stocked with everyone needed! And a lovely neighborhood with fun coffee shops and yummy food. Very walkable. Felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Close drive to Baptist Heath. Communicative and kind hosts. Definitely recommend this charming home.
DO NOT STAY HERE! SEWER ISSUE!
There was a strong sewer odor that began to permeate the apartment I reported it 9/24/24 and had to vacate due to issue not being resolved. I had to submit a written letter of intent to repair using Kentucky statutes to have ot addressed appropriately. The plumbing company stated there's a broken vent pipe and leaking between first and second floors. I requested my deposit and still haven't been returned to me. Also apartment was dirty when I moved in the tenant downstairs said her bathmat was soaked with dog urine upon arrival. I didn't leave sooner due to financial situation and felt repairs would be made in a timely manner and they weren't. I would like my $1000.00 deposit back as I left the unit cleaner than when I got there.
charming walkable area
Everything you need in a charming older well loved home! I enjoyed quiet time on the back porch swing. Owners take pride in keeping the yard in great condition. The driveway is single, sharing the driveway for parking was never an issue as I worked with my downstairs neighbors to accommodate schedules, finding street parking was only challenging on Friday and Saturday night. I never felt unsafe as a single woman. Walkable to many top restaurants in the city. Short drive or Uber to downtown events and hospitals. Also convenient location to St Mathews area. The owners are super helpful and communication was also great! I'll miss my Kentucky home away from home. The staff at FAL are super welcoming, happy hour at Varanese and Volare, Time 4 Thai, Hilltop Tavern, FABD were some of my favorite eats and drinks.
