What an amazing stay! 5 Stars is not enough!
KP Oakland was my first travel contract, and my biggest concern was safe and comfortable housing. Knowing nothing about the Bay Area, I took the advice of a friend and looked in Alameda. I'm so glad I did! Alameda is a charming town, safe, walkable, near the water, minutes from San Fran via car or the Alameda ferry and a quick 15 min drive to work. The hosts, J and G, were amazingly warm and welcoming from day one. They immediately put my husband and me at ease. They are the perfect mix of helpful, available and attentive but yet very respectful of privacy. The cottage is cozy, immaculately clean with cute, updated decor. The true prize is the private yard accessible by patio doors that open completely to allow for an enjoyable indoor/outdoor living experience. We spent many wonderful evenings enjoying wine and cheese in that relaxing and tranquil space. It will be missed. This was the perfect introduction to the California lifestyle for me and my husband. 10/10!!!
