Lovely Home, Friendly and Accommodating Landlords

I had an excellent experience renting from and staying with Lisa and Dan. Their home felt like a home away from home. They made space in their kitchen cupboard and fridge (even though they provide a mini-fridge in the room too), the room for rent was large and clean, and I (as a night shift worker) had no issues with noise or interruptions to my sleep. The adjustable queen sized bed was so cozy. The bathroom is on the same floor, right next to the bedroom, so there was plenty of privacy and quiet on the second floor. And the outdoor spaces are peaceful and beautiful too! Having a pool available during the summer was such a fun bonus during my stay. I highly recommend staying with Lisa and Dan! I would definitely stay with them again if I find myself working in the Harrisburg area again.

My stay with Lisa and Dan was great. This home is very sweet and welcoming The spacious upstairs bedroom is clean and quiet with plenty of space for a personal project studying and or exercise. The adjustable queen size bed made sleep easy. I loved the personal fridge in the room. Your private full bathroom is just next to the bedroom, providing plenty of privacy of the entire second floor for yourself. You have your own cabinet space in the kitchen and in the family refrigerator as well. All kitchen needs were easily accessible. The backyard is quiet and tranquil. Perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. The in ground pool is a great perk for those hot summer days. Using the front door entrance was never an issue anytime of the day or night. Lisa and Dan provide all you need during your stay here. I wish I could have stayed longer. We will remain friends thru the years to come. I am grateful I have found them and this home. It was truly my home away from home.

BEWARE OF THE DOG!!!

When the owner left the house, she would leave her dog and it would not stop barking!!! Once when she left her dog at the house I contacted the owner and asked her when she was returning. After that her attitude changed negatively towards me. Unfortunately, it was not the restful haven that I needed. If you need a quiet place to stay this is not the place for you.

Great place to stay!

L and her family are excellent hosts and know how to make tenants feel safe and comfortable. They will help you out any way they can. I had a wonderful time with them! The small dog is friendly and does not shed. The house is also a three to five minute drive from the local Giant (Martins) food store.

Home Away From Home

I absolutely loved my stay with L and D. I had a more than adequate space that was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and respected at all times. They are wonderful people and they made me feel like a part of their family. I would highly recommend staying with L and D!
