Nice place, nicest host!

I stayed here for three months during my summer internship, and it was an amazing experience. The host is incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. We even had breakfast and cooking sessions together a few times, which made my stay feel even more like home. The room is spacious, comfortable, and fully furnished with everything you need. The bathroom is clean and well maintained, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. Having a supermarket right outside the property was also very convenient. The location is excellent, just an 8-minute walk to Cummings Park and the beach, in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Home away from home

I stayed at L&R home for six months during my assignment. L&R was very helpful and very welcoming. The house is kept clean, organized, and well taken care of. L&R was very helpful accommodating to my request. The room that I stayed on was perfect for me with plenty closet space and a nice big drawer. If I ever come back to Stamford, Connecticut, I would definitely stay with them again.

Upstairs bedroom lovely stay

Laxmi and her family are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My shift ended late evenings which meant street parking was scarce and could be hard to find but Laxmi ensured I would always have a spot in the driveway and even went as far as moving the car early mornings so I wouldnt have to get up. I appreciate how caring they all are and went out of their way to make me feel like family The room and closet are spacious with great natural lighting. The bathroom is cozy Washer and dryer on site, access to living room and kitchen Felt like home away from home Plenty of restaurants and parks within walking distance as well as a grocery store and 20 min walk to Stamford station. I am grateful to have found this listing and highly recommend staying in their home. Thank you

Paying Guest Accommodation

I was in the process of moving between places and came across this listing online. Im so glad I did. Laxmi and Rochak are some of the nicest people you could meetextremely friendly and accommodating to all of my needs. They treated me like family and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, which I greatly appreciate. The room I stayed in was spacious, with a private bath and all the amenities I needed. I also had access to the kitchen and living area, which made it feel like home while still maintaining my privacy. Theres plenty of street parking, though its important to avoid certain lanes during the first Tuesday/Wednesday of every month. Overall, I had a fantastic experience living here, and I highly recommend their listing!

Caring Family

The property itself is very clean. The room provides enough space for a person to set up a home office, have some space to work out beisdes the bed. The family is very caring. They go out of their way to help, accommodate to your needs and are super friendly.

Best place in Stamford

I stayed there for 6 months and I would have continued to stay if my contract had not ended. The cottage is absolutely perfect. I had privacy and so many things are in walking range. I cooked often and enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to all the sounds you would hear in a friendly neighborhood. As for convenience, there are restaurants, the grocery store with an amazing deli, coffee shops, a donut shop, an ice-cream shop and the beach... all in walking range! And there is an ice-cream truck!! The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for my day sleeping. L and her family are absolutely perfect hosts! They are attentive, kind and so sweet. I had dinner with them a few times (the home made sushi was my fave). I honestly can't say anything bad about them, the cottage or the neighborhood. I would absolutely stay there again. I highly recommend them for hosts :)

Bedroom in a house review

Lovely family, very nice and open to changes if need be. Adequate kitchen spaces provided for food. Could be more privacy provided, especially through entrances or space to spend time alone if not in the separate cottage studio.

Perfect Quiet Stay For Traveling Professional!

I work 60-80 hours a week so I just needed a place to call home. This cottage was perfect! It has everything that you need. I was very comfortable staying there for those few months. It's right next to the Shop Rite so it's a short walk to pick up something. It's also a few minutes into town and a few minutes from the train station- it's a perfect spot. L and her family were SO kind to me and were always making sure that I was good and had everything that I needed. If I ever work there again I will definitely call them!! Don't look any further for the best furnished spot in Stamford!

Great experience

This was my very first traveling job so I didnt expect much but a roof over my head and a place to shower when Im not at work. I worked through all the major holidays on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years so needless to say, being away from home could feel extremely lonely. Not only did I lucked out on finding such a cozy, clean, and a convenient place close to work, but I also gained a family I can call true friends. The property manager was so accommodating, kind and respectful. She made sure everything I needed was available. I even accidentally locked myself out once and she was quick to respond. I can not thank her and her family enough for all their delicious home cook meals and times theyve gone out of their ways to make me feel welcome. I will miss them and definitely rent from them again next time.

Cozy cottage

The family that owns this property is amazing. They addressed any and all issues immediately. They are very friendly, even cooking a Thanks for staying with us dinner on my last night. It is very cozy and small but I am a big guy and I was comfortable while on assignment for 8-9 weeks. I would definitely stay here again if I ever work in Stamford again and its available.
