Adorable Cabin

I absolutely loved staying at Heathers! Her cute and cozy cabin felt like home away from home. It had everything that a traveler would need! I especially enjoyed roaming around on the trails by the cabin. It was a nice change from being stuck in the city! Heather was an excellent communicator and was always available to answer any questions. I would highly recommend her cabin and would most definitely stay with her again!

5-star cabin experience!

We loved our stay at the cabin while my husband worked a travel nurse contract at UVA hospital! The cabin has great internet speed for those working remotely as well. I'll echo another reviewer and say you really feel like you're in a cozy treehouse in the woods. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and we greatly enjoyed morning coffee on the screened-in porch (as did our cats!). We loved spending time with the chickens and the best farm dog, Shelby. Heather was a wonderful host and readily available for questions. Would rent from Heather again in a heartbeat!

Peaceful setting, incredible hospitality, and kind hosts

You will not meet nicer people than the hosts. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. It's also nice to be on such a peaceful setting of 80 acres with hiking trails out your door. The hosts have farm fresh eggs that they deliver to your door. The high ceilings and big porch along with the fireplace make it a perfect place to unwind and soak in nature. Only 10 minutes to Target on 29 and 25 minutes to the heart of Charlottesville. I recommend highly!!!

Perfect Cabin Stay

My wife and I are both travel nurses that took contracts at UVA. This was the perfect place to stay. The drive to the hospital was about 25min. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. They have the sweetest, most kind outside dog on the property who loved playing with our dog. There are plenty of trails on the property which was perfect for walks too. Overall, we had an amazing stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who is staying in the area. 10/10

Perfect home away from home

This is a quintessential cabin in the woods. When you look out the back windows, you feel like you are in a treehouse, and in the winter, you can see the mountains in the distance. Very cozy and ample room for my husband and I, as well as a cat. H was respectful of our privacy, but readily available for questions. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene environment, and a rustic home (with great internet and streaming ability), this is the place for you.

Adorable cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin in the woods. It was very warm and cozy and we enjoyed the solitude of living outside the city. My husband and I stayed there while I worked a three month contract and I always look forward to coming home. Theres plenty of beautiful areas for walks and the grocery store and other shopping are close by. Its a beautiful property and we highly recommend renting.
