Cottage

The cottage is perfect for one or two travelers. It is small, but very cozy. The kitchen is small, but very functional and we had no issues cooking during our stay. The cottage is within walking distance to the town center of Pawtuxet and about a 15 minute drive to Providence. There is also a sand beach about 10 minutes away. Everything you might need for your stay is also close by. There are grocery stores and a Walmart that are within a 5 minute drive from the cottage. There is no washer or dryer on site, so you will need to use one of the laundromats nearby. The one we used was about a 10 minute drive, but it was pretty affordable and very clean. The parking space was a little tight, and it was a little difficult to get out of with a mid-sized SUV; even with a backup camera. If you have a larger vehicle, there is street parking, but it is limited. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The landlord made things very easy for us, and we definitely reccomend staying here.

Great cottage in prime location

This cottage is perfect for a single, shorter traveler. The shower has a very low ceiling so if you are tall, I'm 5'5" and it was a tight fit. No laundry in unit and laundry services in the area are pricey so keep that in mind. There is plenty of space to relax. The AC and ceiling fans do a great job keeping the unit cool and the furnace does great in colder weather. The tabletop burner and Breville oven combo were easy to use and made for easy meal prep. Janet is a great landlord and made living here easy. You will enjoy your time in the neighborhood as the cottage is a short walk to the bay and water with fun restaurants and shops to visit along the way.
