Loved my stay here!

I stayed with Karen for about a month as a work-from-home employee wanting an opportunity to explore Washington/PNW. From the initial reach-out stage, Karen was friendly and made it easy/comforting to a find a place to stay in a new state while I was in a different state. I really appreciated this and this warm hospitality continued on when I arrived and during the rest of my stay. I loved my time here and being able to meet her and her partner (they gave me so many local recommendations). The location was perfect for me, close enough to drive or take the water taxi into Seattle and Alki Beach is pretty amazing too. You really do have everything you need in such a close proximity (city amenities and nature-wise). Would 100 percent recommend if you're ever needing a comfortable and welcoming home-base to stay for your travels!

Amazing location/people

My stay in Seattle was an AMAZING experience!!! The house/ room was very clean and welcoming. K (landlord) is the absolute sweetest and did a great job at making me feel welcome. I was away from family/friends during Thanksgiving and she was nice enough to involve me in her festivities. The location of this rental is amazing as it is walking distance from Alki beach and many local shops. I highly recommend staying here for any single traveler that wants a clean and friendly place to stay. Miss it already!!

The property is beautiful, loved sitting outside and reading when the weather was nice. West Seattle is a great area to stay in, very safe and walking distance to the beach while still being able to enjoy downtown Seattle super easily. Work commute was only 15 minutes into downtown. Had private FREE parking (huge bonus)! K was very welcoming and respectful of privacy! Very laid back environment to live in. I had the house to myself a lot of the time to catch up on sleep or just be lazy on the couch. She gave excellent recommendations for food and places to explore! Had a lovely stay here!

Cute and comfortable rental

K´s house is a cozy place located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I loved living in west Seattle and it was an easy commute to downtown to work. She was very welcoming, friendly and easy to get along with during my stay. K was respectful of my privacy and was easy to communicate with. My room got the afternoon sun which was lovely and it had lots of closet space. The back yard was amazing for relaxing on a warm day. I had private off street parking during my stay.

Clean, quiet, private

This was the perfect rental and exactly what I was looking for. The room was clean and cozy. K was very friendly and answered all my questions during the stay. The space was welcoming and I look forward to staying here again in the future. I would highly recommend the Seattle Cottage for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

This is a fabulous place! It is in a beautiful area close to EVERYTHING! You can walk to the beach, Schmitz Park, local shops/bars/restaurants, and VERY easy & fast access to ALL downtown hospitals. The house & my room were meticulous, and the owner, K, is really cool. I couldnt recommend this place more. Get it before someone else does!
