Beware

The house itself is nice and comfortable in a safe quiet neighborhood off the highway. My review is based on the unethical owner of this property. For one, they don't disclose the owner resides on the property. Which wasn't an issue for me. Just thought I'd mention it. He has a lady named Michelle "managing" the property. Myself and coworker moved into this home. On Oct 19th. We signed no lease, or contract. Just was supposed to pay month to month. With a REFUNDABLE deposit upon move out. On November 18, me and my coworker decided to move out. Due to an issue that happen on his property that we feel he should've rectified and didn't. We notified Michelle on 11/18 that we were moving out and for a walk thru. She stated she couldn't come to the property until 11/19 for a walk through. We met her at the property on 11/19. She stated she was going to reach out to Chris and inform him that the house was left in great condition and for him to refund our deposit back. In the total of $400. $200 per room. Today is now 12/03. No deposit has been sent back. Reached out to Michelle several times. With nothing but excuses from her. They left me no choice, but to dispute it with my bank. Just, other potential tenants be aware. You may NOT receive your deposit back upon moving out.
