It is a wonderful apartment, great location, quick communication and zero cons to my entire stay! As a traveler, its always nice to find a place that feels so cozy and homey, The Gypsy provided that for me. Thank you so much for the stay!

I Love the Gypsy

I had a very pleasant stay at the Gypsy while in town working at U Of L. Bed is comfortable. Furnishings and Wi-Fi are great. Everything I needed was furnished. I would definitely stay here if I ever come back to work in Louisville.

Convenience and comfort

I stayed in the Gypsy while working downtown Louisville. The location of the Gypsy was perfect and extremely convenient, central to everything. My commute was less than 8 mins and Waterfront park is right around the corner. The community felt safe at all times and the neighbors being welcoming and friendly was a bonus. During the summer months I was able to enjoy days off by the pool. The pool area was always clean with plenty of seating. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. Walking in after a long shift each day gave me a sense of calm and peace. The furnishings and amenities provided within the home made it easy to relax and just enjoy the space. The host Dave was absolutely wonderful. Dave was very responsive and remained in contact throughout the duration of my stay to ensure that everything was going smoothly. The Gypsy left a lasting impression that I will always remember when thinking of my time in Louisville.

I stayed at the G when I had a short-term internship and everything was amazing! Everything you could need or want in an apartment was there to use, such as pots and pans, utensils, etc. It made it more enjoyable that there was less to worry about as far as bringing items or purchasing upon arrival. The apartment itself is adorable and in a nice neighborhood with close proximity to anything you could want to do in Louisville. The neighbors are also great and very friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay and D was very accommodating and responded quickly to any of our questions as well! Definitely will be looking to stay here again if I'm in the area again soon!!

Home Away from Home!

While staying at this gorgeous apartment, my husband and I, who are both travel nurses, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This location has everything you could need and want during your contract. My personal favorite was the decor! The apartment was beautiful decorated and made the place feel warm and cozy! I loved being able to cook in the kitchen and having everything I needed and more! Dave made sure that every step of the way that we were comfortable and safe! He took care of everything and made sure any questions we had were answered in a timely manner! We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in the Louisville area! This place is convenient, safe, and absolutely beautiful!!

The best part of my contract!

I moved into The Gypsy after a disappointing one-month stay at another property. At first, I was hesitant about spending all my stipend...but the peace I got from staying there was very much worth every dollar of that stipend! I have been a travel nurse since the onset of the pandemic and have stayed in hotels, condos, apartments, etc. In all my years as a travel nurse, only this property and another one in Oregon truly felt like home. All the amenities you need are readily available. The location is safe, nice, and quiet, and the apartment is extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The pictures don't do it justice. If you like to order things from Amazon, you would get your packages in a secure area. The beautiful and airy kitchen is perfect for cooking- there is a full-size fridge, stove, and ample storage space. I appreciated the office desk and chair in the room for my online classes. I hope to come back to Louisville in August and plan to stay here if it's available.
