I moved in with the property owner Ivette on a one-week trial basis, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and did not go as agreed upon. After only three days, she abruptly informed me that the arrangement was not working out and asked me to move out. Although she had previously agreed that my dog would be welcome, she later reversed this,saying she didnt want the dog there despite the fact that my dog was never even brought onto the property. She also expressed frustration over me setting the air conditioner to 72 degrees, even though she had said I could use it and that we would split the cost. I even bought an evaporation cooler from Home depot and let her know that I didn't need to use her AC going forward and she was still unreasonable. She also raised an issue that I filled up her fridge, though I only placed a few items in the freezer. I offered to remove the items and it didn't matter to her. Overall, I found her behavior to be inconsistent and unreasonable. What was initially presented as a flexible and welcoming situation quickly became uncomfortable and unpredictable. I would not recommend this rental arrangement for anyone looking for a stable or respectful living environment. She simply doesn't honor her word. She will not allow you to use the AC even during the scorching summer months of July to Sept. If she does it has to be set at 79 degrees which doesn't help cool the place down. She is a very poor representative for this website. Do your due diligence in advance and save yourself from heartache and disappointment. I wouldn't stay here for free if I knew how she would act. Very poor experience overall. The bed mattress is very very soft and you will have back problems after only a few days. The TV in the bedroom is not connect
