Idyllic Farmhouse Experience

Staying at Sandra's farmhouse was an idyllic experience. The farmhouse is in a country setting but just minutes from downtown Petaluma. We enjoyed exploring the property and appreciated the beautiful flowers and landscaping. The goats and sheep were wonderful neighbors, and it was fun to visit them every day. The farmhouse is stocked with everything one might need (especially for those that enjoy cooking), and it is clear that there was so much love put into the details/design of the property. We were more than at home during our stay and Sandra was very welcoming.

Wonderful experience

My wife and I stayed at Sandra's farmhouse for 3 months while our home was undergoing a remodel. Sandra was a wonderful host, always attentive to any issue that we had. For example, when the thermostat failed just before the coldest week of the winter, Sandra had a technician at the house the next day to fix the problem. The house was comfortable and very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoy cooking, and the kitchen and outside BBQ fully met our needs. The care Sandra has put into this house over the years is obvious and we greatly appreciated it. The grounds and goats were a wonderful addition to all of the other amenities this place provided. Finally, the location was very convenient, being just a few minutes drive from downtown Petaluma, and 20 minutes from Santa Rosa, and 30 minutes from Sonoma. We could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Sandra's farmhouse to anyone looking for clean, comfortable place to spend a few weeks or months.

Great stay in Petaluma

Sandra's cozy home was the perfect stay for my son and I for 6 weeks. The home has multiple areas inside and out for sitting and relaxing and the 2 bedrooms gave us our own space when needed. The home was super comfy, tastefully decorated and well stocked with kitchen items and toiletries. Laundry on site is great too! It really felt more like staying with a friend or family and not a generic short-term rental property. Sandra was responsive and helpful when needed and also gave us privacy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for 2 months. We feel so fortunate to have found Sandra's cottage! The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything one might need. So often short term rentals can feel very IKEA and impersonal, but Sandra has thoughtfully decorated the house with unique antiques, lovely art, and a fantastic bookshelf of books. Sandra was so hospitable and made our stay really great. She encouraged us to cut flowers from the gardens, and provided lots of vases. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We are so thankful for our time on this property. This place has lots of character, was cozy and warm, offered privacy, and provided everything we needed. S***** was always quick to respond and is an excellent landlord. We enjoyed the view of green rolling acres and especially the sheep. The commute to Novato for work was easier than expected, during morning rush hour I was able to take a back route. The Helen Putnam Regional Park was one of our favorite places to walk/hike, only 5 minutes away. Highly recommend staying here, it was delightful!

Wonderful Cottage!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage! S was a wonderful host - warm, friendly, and a great communicator. The pictures are very accurate. Light, bright, cheery, and a well-stocked kitchen with great cookware (appreciated!) and lovely grounds. Very easy drive into town and throughout Petaluma. The Cottage is cozy, but very functional. S has maximized the spaces here so we had ample closet and storage areas. I happily recommend staying here!

Perfect short term stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner S. The house is absolutely adorable and she clearly put a lot of love into this home. It's on a beautiful piece of property that was quiet and had ample parking. Less than 5 minutes from the freeway and close to downtown restaurants/shopping, while still being in the country.The house is fully stocked and we had everything we needed. On site laundry was also great. We had zero issues while staying here and every question we had, S was quick to respond. We feel very lucky to have found this property. Thanks S!

Country house

It is a gorgeous house with everything well thought of. My family and I stayed here for 2 months. The house may look small but had more than enough storage for our stuff. It had all the things we needed specially in the kitchen. Theres never a dull moment in this place, you could always walk around the property, watch the animals and enjoy the scenery.
