Amazing Property

I loved this condo!! I stayed here for 6 months while finishing up training near by. The place was fully stocked with everything I needed. 5-10 minutes from MUSC and 15 from the beach. There is a grocery store right across the street. You can't beat the location, but Dorie is the best part of the place! An amazing, kind soul and great land lady. I can't say enough nice things about her or this condo. I will miss it.

The Most Wonderful Stay

I absolutely loved staying at this condo in James Island. I worked at Trident Medical Center and the commute was not bad at all. The amenities at the condo were perfect, plus it has a pool and is close to folly beach. The property owner is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and she really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to make sure that your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. Communication was a breeze and she was always there when I needed her. The condo is clean and tidy, and I love the little porch to sit outside. Can't say enough good things! I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Charleston Location!

I LOVED staying at this apartment. James Island is the perfect place to live to be close to downtown and the beach. This apartment had everyone you could want in a short term rental. Dorie was the best landlord I've had, always super prompt to respond and went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The complex is super safe and peaceful, I loved going for walks by the marsh in the morning or laying by the pool in the afternoon. It's like a little oasis but so easy to get to downtown and other parts of Charleston, the location couldn't be better. If I return to Charleston I will 100% stay here again!

a home away from home

As a travel healthcare worker, Ive stayed in a variety of rental properties, but my recent experience in this apartment was by far one of the best. First and foremost, the location was incredibly convenient. It was just a short commute to the hospital, which made getting to and from work a breeze. I also loved that I was within a mile of several grocery stores and other essentialseverything I needed was right around the corner. Safety was a top priority for me, and I felt completely at ease in this neighborhood. It was quiet, well-lit, and welcoming, which was especially important since I often worked late hours. I never felt concerned walking around, whether it was during the day or after a night shift. The apartment itself had all the everyday essentials. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the washer/dryer in the unit made laundry so much easier. The space was cozy, with a perfect balance of comfort and functionality. The pet-friendly policy was an added bonus as I travel with my golden retriever. The area around the apartment was great for walks, with a beautiful view of the marsh in the back with some epic sunrises! Lastly, the landlord was amazing. From the beginning, she was incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. Dorie made the whole process smooth and she was always available if I needed anything. Dorie genuinely cared about my comfort and well-being, and that level of care made a huge difference during my stay. Between the great location, thoughtful amenities, and wonderful landlord, this was truly a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again if Im back in the area!

16 weeks of Heaven in Charleston!

Dorie was an amazing landlord!! I rented an apartment from her for my daughter who was doing a 16 week PT rotation in Charleston. Dorie was so accommodating and attentive to all of my daughter's needs and was extremely quick to reply to any questions or concerns that I had. I would definitely recommend that you rent from her. Also as s a mother, I felt that my daughter was in a safe location as Dorie is a mother herself. When we were looking for an apartment and not really knowing the area, this really helped me feel at ease knowing the apartment was in a safe area. Also, extremely dog friendly. So many people walking dogs!!!! Thanks Dorie for giving Mol a great, safe, clean place for 16 weeks!! She will be back as she will start her first job in Charleston in a few weeks!

Mrs. D was an amazing landlord! Very attentive and always quick to respond - when it comes to a landlord it doesnt get better than her. Her property was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I absolutely recommend her and her property when looking for a place to stay. If youre a nurse at MUSC, this property is perfectly located. A short easy 7 minute drive to the hospital. Thank you for everything and making my stay in Charleston so incredible!

First, D is the absolute best landlord you could ask for, so sweet, thoughtful, accommodating and flexible. The same goes for her apartment, it has everything you could need for a comfortable short term stay and is a great size. The location is great, parking is easy and the apartment is super cute! Beautiful and convenient

As a travel sonographer working at MUSC, I could not have asked for a better apartment to live in. This apartment is absolutely spotless and has all the amenities you could possibly want while being away from home. The landlord D is so kind and always available if something comes up. This complex is very well kept and extremely safe. I cannot say enough great things about my stay here!
