Excellent property, great location

Stayed in Sandy's Artsy Garden Suite for our last couple of months in Dallas after we sold our house. It was the perfect place - home from home. Very comfortable, very clean, with everything you need and an artsy vibe. Sandy lives in the upstairs unit and was a great and attentive host. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but in walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. Downtown is a 10 minute drive, Love field is 20 minutes, DFW is 30 minutes. This will definitely be our "go to" place for future Dallas visits. Thank you Sandy for making our stay so comfortable.

Best summer in Dallas!

I stayed here for the summer while I interned in Dallas. This was the most perfect place! About 20 minute commute to uptown/oak lawn neighborhood for me with traffic, less than 15 without. Sandy makes sure that you have everything you could ever need - this place is furnished with not just furniture but also all of the little things, like cleaning supplies, pots and pans, cooking essentials and more. The neighborhood is very safe and I enjoyed going for runs and walks. The garden is perfect and my roommate and I also enjoyed eating dinner out there often. It was also extremely comforting knowing that if we ever needed anything, Sandy was just a quick text away, and very willing to help however she could. I would recommend living here 100x over!

Cozy Space, Great Host!

This was the perfect place to stay for the summer! Sandy was a wonderful host and super quick to respond if we had any questions. The space is so cozy and well-decorated, and the separate entance made the space feel completely it's own. The location make it easy to get most places in Dallas and the garden is lovely. I 100% recommend staying here!!

Welcome to the Whimsical!

This property is so unique and probably the best one I've ever stayed at. There are two comfortable beds and a nice, piping hot shower which is a must have. I loved that there was a workspace that allowed me to focus on my work. But more than that are the whimsical and kitschy items and decor. It was the new Millennium meets Fae meets Jane Austen. If a quaint and cozy English cottage with a garden of flowers could be transported to Dallas, this is the place. Here is where you can come for respite, tranquility, and wonder paired with the ability to be near downtown Dallas, And the host, S, is so endearing and kind. She's incredibly polite and non-invasive so you have complete privacy. Overall, this place has personality and the feel of something DIFFERENT and WONDERFUL.

Home Sweet Home Feeling

The property was great. I love the easy access to enter and exit. The owners made me feel at home and if you had any questions they would answer promptly. You had enough space to have your family there. I loved the location and it was great to get around the city from there. This is a place I would look forward to returning to when I am in town.

The sweetest home away from home

My family and I love staying at the Artsy Garden Suite. The design and decorations are delightful. All the comforts you need are there and its like a home away from home, except the layout and decor are so unique and well thought out. The feel of this home is way different and, in many ways, better than I could have put together. The owners are very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. A good place to go for long walks. I highly recommended the Artsy Garden Suite.

Super Comfortable and Welcoming !

S made me feel right at home! Her and her family were very welcoming to my roommate and I while we were living in Dallas for our internships. She is incredibly accomodating and very easy to talk to. We were invited to stay with her family at her lakehouse and treated us like family-even making me homemade soup when I was sick. I loved living in a space surrounded by so much greenery and the way she has the space set up is so cozy and warm. Thorughout the whole semester, I felt very lucky to find a place I felt safe in with such a wonderful host! Definitely recommend!!!

Home Away from Home

I couldn't have asked for a better living situation for my semester in Dallas. S's such a sweet person and a fabulous hostess- she'd make us food and treats sometimes and was kind enough to invite us to her lakehouse. I was a little nervous about coming to Texas for the first time and not knowing anyone, but S made me feel at home and feel really comfortable in her space. There's complete privacy between the two house levels, and her outside garden area is a cute and relaxing environment to come home to every day. There's no limit to the generosity S will provide to you if you stay in her Artsy Garden Suite. It made me feel like I was living in the tiny home from the Lord of the Rings movies! Bishop Arts is less than a 5-minute drive from her place, and the Ph.D. (Pour House Dallas) was an enjoyable little sports bar where I would get drinks or brunch every now and then. I would 110% recommend staying here and would stay here again- you'll find all that you need here!
