Real Portland Experience
This is a really great place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and easy to navigate whether youre walking, biking, or parking your car right out front. The apartment is comfortable and has a wonderful proch you can use to relax. The apartment is right on a bike friendly street and there is some storage in basement to store a bicycle. There are many Food car pods, resturants and pubs within working distance. My favorite thing abou this about thing about this apartment is its proximity to Mt Tabor it is only about 20 minutes on foot, perfect for a quick escape into nature while still in the city. Heather, the landlord, is fantastic, always friendly, responsive, and flexible. She truly made living here a breeze. Living here will definitely give you a real Portland Experience
Perfect spot for my sidekick and I
I loved my time in this well-appointed, upstairs bungalow. The location was ideal, and close to everything - including Mt. Tabor - and generally great for long neighborhood walks. My dog was a fan of people watching from the window. loved, The area is quiet, safe, and near great restaurants. My downstairs neighbor, Dustin, was really kind and became a friend, which made living here even better. Heather was a fantastic landlordalways helpful, responsive, and regularly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The space itself was welcoming, with plenty of natural light upstairs. Ill always have great memories of my time here and would absolutely recommend this spot to others.
Nice space, quiet neighborhood
First off, H is an excellent landlord! She's very kind, easy to get ahold of, and quick to take care of any issues! She was even there when I arrived to give me a run down of the apartment, which was very nice! The apartment itself was very comfortable and only about a 15 minute drive (a little more with heavier traffic) from OHSU. The AC unit in the bedroom has a turbo setting, and with a box fan in the bedroom, kept the apartment comfortable on hotter days! D who lives downstairs is also super nice and courteous! Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend!
great place to stay!!
We loved staying here. It was plenty of space for 2 people and our 20lb dog. Her partner lives on the 1st floor and was really quiet. The neighborhood felt safe, was pretty quiet, and there was always parking in front of the house. The AC, TV, shower, and appliances worked well. Heather was quick to respond to any messages. We also appreciated the basement space for storage for our bikes. We loved how walkable the neighborhood was, so we could pick-up dinner or walk our dog to a few nearby parks. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!
Perfect Portland Bungalo
This charming bungalow was perfect for my contract while in Portland. Its the perfect location. Near my favorite park to walk and cycle. Its close to great restaurants couldnt have asked for a better location. Its in a quite and safe neighborhood. Landlord is so helpful and available making communication quick and easy. She checked on me regularly to ensure things were going smooth. I stayed for 3 months and loved every day. Its so homey and welcoming. The bed is so comfortable, decorations make me feel at home loving Oregon and cycling myself. I work a lot from home and the upstairs gives great natural light. I loved that its dog friendly and could bring my side kick with me. Ill definitely stay again if I return to Portland for another contract.
Cozy stay on the East side
This fully furnished apartment enabled me to comfortably live in and explore the Richmond neighborhood on the East side of Portland. The location was on the more quiet side in a neighborhood which led to great walks, just blocks away from local restaurants and bars. A perfect balance, with easy street parking and feeling of safety. Having a great friendly neighbor downstairs helped with that too. The apartment itself was perfect for me. The multiple windows gave me great views of sunsets, people watching their dogs, the ability to check on my car, and even my neighbors cross country skiing down the hills when it snowed! The all white large comfy bed made me feel like a queen. The claw foot tub was something i showed to every guest. Sleeper couch avail. There was every kitchen utensil i could've needed, even a crock pot! Loved the way it was decorated too, very Portland. A little antique but clean, travel oriented, with bicycle details. Overall, would I would highly recommend this stay!
Charming hideaway, great location
After a long day, this cozy space is a joy to come home to. Walking up the steps always felt like leaving the world behind. It has tons of natural light and lovely cross-breezes from all the windows, with great views of the neighborhood. Fixtures and appliances are updated and modern, but you still get the charm of original built-ins and that claw foot tub. The house sits between two of Portland's major bus lines running from east PDX to downtown, and only a few blocks from Division Street where you'll find bars, restaurants, a couple food cart pods, and a grocery store. If you're the biking sort, you're only a couple blocks from the Clinton St Greenway. Highly recommend!
