Moldy unit- Worst rental experience I've ever had

Unpleasant smell when first entering the unit. After following a trail of ants in the bedroom, I discovered mold behind the bed. It was all over the wall, floorboards, carpet, and bed. After already paying rent, I had to stay in a hotel while I let the landlords know the issue. I asked multiple times for them to reimburse me for the hotel stay, but they ignored every single message. They have the worst professionalism and communication I've ever experienced. While they figured out what to do with the mold, they let me stay in a different rental. I ended up staying in the 2nd rental my full three months I was in Austin for work. I also didn't have the best experience in the second rental due to having to meet with potential renters because of the owner selling the unit. They also didn't return my refundable deposit, with no communication about it. Overall I would not ever recommend these realtors Lina & Joe or their company Second home hosting.

Cozy and Convenient 1-Bedroom ADU in Austin

I recently stayed in this charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom ADU for two months during my office trip, and I couldnt have asked for a better place. The space is incredibly cozy and perfect for a solo traveler or someone needing a peaceful retreat after a busy workday. The layout is well-thought-out, making the most of the space. The bedroom was comfortable and inviting, and the full bathroom had everything I needed. The entire unit was clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped, so I had no trouble settling in. One of the best aspects of this place is its location. Its just a short drive from both the airport and downtown Austin, making it super convenient whether you're coming or going, or heading into the heart of the city. Despite being so close to these key areas, the ADU is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful spot to unwind. Overall, this ADU was the perfect home base for my time in Austin. Whether for work or leisure, Id definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and stress-free place to stay.

Communication with the host was smooth, and any questions I had were answered promptly. It truly felt like a home away from home.
