The Homest Home

Thank you Bruce and Lydia for such a wonderful experience in Tacoma! They truly make it feel like a safe space to come home to, especially great if you are traveling alone like I did. They are so friendly and always around if I needed anything, and I still felt like I had my own space. I also had a truck there and would always have parking in front of the house. The studio is very spacious and has everything you would need. I especially appreciated the roomy closet space with a dresser inside and the storage room for extra supplies. I would highly recommend booking with Lydia and Bruce, they were such great ambassadors to Washington and truly the most wonderful people! My surrogate grandparents are missed!

Feels like home

This apartment is true perfection. I am an RN who is new to traveling and had never been to Washington state. I was trepidatious when it came to the whole housing aspect. Enter Bruce and Lydia with their wonderful apartment and open arms and I immediately felt right at home. It's a large space with a stocked full kitchen, private washer and dryer, walk in closet, storage space, a heater in the bathroom, your own separate entrance, plenty of privacy, quiet day and night, and ample parking. It's in a perfect location no matter what you're looking for. Bruce and Lydia give you all the privacy you desire and are always willingly available for anything you may need. They have become like family to me even though I only stayed there for 2.5 months. They even took me to a local jazz venue for my birthday, invited me to watch football with them and invited me to spend Christmas with them and some of their friends. Sincerely, if I wasn't traveling I would want to live in this apartment forever.

Great Place to Stay

My partner and I stayed here for a little over 2 months in the summer, and it was perfect! Very quiet, walkable, and safe neighborhood. The unit stayed cool during heatwaves and had everything we needed. Lydia was a fantastic host and communicator. We felt welcome even before our stay began.

Perfect

Lydia and Bruce were the perfect landlords. I work night shift and they were so considerate of my sleep hours. The basement had everything I needed to live comfortably for 4 months. I would stay with them again anytime!

I stayed here for 7 months while on assignment at Tacoma General Hospital. It was a lovely space with lots of thought and consideration for all of the comforts a travel medical professional might need. Lydia and Bruce were great landlords and considerate upstairs neighbors. Since I was working a late swing shift they were very considerate of my sleep schedule. They were very responsive any time I had questions or concerns about anything. They even saved me a plate at Thanksgiving since I was working. The space had everything I needed and was looking for. It was cool in the summer and the heater kept me warm in the winter. Great location, beautiful historic neighborhood and I felt safe living there.

great place!

I stayed here while on assignment at Mary Bridge and absolutely loved it! The owners are such a delight and made sure I was comfortable and never in need of anything. The house is very clean and well kept. I absolutely loved the location as there was so much to do and we were so close to the water! Highly recommend this home!

Great property and Great Owners

I stayed at this property for almost a year. While my initial stay was only suppose to be for 3 months my plans changed and the property owners made every effort to accommodate me during this time. They are also really great and welcoming people who treat you like family. In regards to the space, I was comfortable, it was clean, and felt like I had plenty of privacy when I wanted it. The neighborhood is also once of the better ones I saw in Tacoma. It felt safe. I would recommend this apartment to everyone.

Best Landlords and Cutest Little Studio in Tacoma!

Ive been travel nursing all over the country for 4.5 years now and this studio was hands down my favorite rental to date! You couldnt ask for better landlords. Seriously. L and B were so welcoming, kind, and hospitable. They immediately made me feel right at home and bent over backwards to ensure I was comfortable. Any time I had an issue in the studio (which was rare) or needed something, they addressed it immediately. The space itself is newly renovated, immaculately clean, well stocked with anything you could possibly need, full of natural light, and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and the TV had all the streaming Apps on it. I rarely heard any noise from the house above. The neighborhood was cute and safe. If I ever take an assignment in the area again, I will absolutely try to stay here again. I cant say enough about the space and hosts, I loved it and them!
