Amazing Space
I had the pleasure of staying at this property in New Haven for a month, and I can't recommend it enough! As a traveling nurse, it had everything I needed to feel comfortable and at home. The space was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to meet every essential need. What truly stood out was how responsive and attentive the landlords wereMarie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my safety and comfort were top priorities. She made the entire experience seamless and stress-free, which is invaluable when you're away from home. If you're considering staying here, dont hesitateits the perfect place for anyone looking for a safe, convenient, and welcoming environment. I would absolutely stay here again!
good landlord but not safe area for me
The owner, Marie, is a very nice person and accommodating. Im happy that the house has a security camera outside. I personally dont think that the area was the safest for me. I highly suggest researching the area first because that was my mistake. I was struggling with coordinating my packages because the area was notorious with people stealing packages. I thought that it was a very busy street especially on weekend nights with the loud noises/parties from the nearby houses and the cars outside blasting music. There are a lot of things that I didnt like about living here. The unfinished basement, where the laundry was located, has a musty smell since I got there. I didnt complain until I felt more sick often. I was having a sore throat and coughing so much at bedtime. I was only feeling this way when I was in the house. I had tried a mold test kit in my bedroom and it did show positive for it. However, I just wasnt convinced enough to stay there with air purifiers to fix the issue, so I decided to leave. Given that this is a new home on FF, I would give it some credit for having enough kitchen appliances but did not have a range hood, water filter and toaster. The floor was uneven so the stove was also uneven. The rooms did not have hangers. I thought the place was decorated well but it was not practical. The apartment photos (except the basement) was like an ikea showroom yet not having all the things you really needed. Conclusively, I didnt feel safe enough being in the house and being in this neighborhood. It wasnt for me. I definitely think that Marie was kind and responsive whenever I had an issue.
Close to hospitals, great property!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. About 10-12 minutes from YNHH/st raphael campus. Landlords were very responsive if we had any issues and/or questions. Very close to a lot of things. Private parking for one car which was great as the street the property is on is very busy. Well stocked with kitchen supplies/towels. Thank you again for our stay!
