Amazing!

I stayed at the whale cottage with a friend for a few months and could not have asked for a better stay! The view is remarkable, the cottage is adorable, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. It came with every amenity one could need and is in a very nice area. I highly recommend to anyone interested in spending time in OB/Point Loma.

Beautiful home with stellar ocean views!

We loved our stay at the whale cottage! My husband and I stayed for 3 months during the spring of 2023. This place has spectacular ocean views. We never tired of drinking coffee, having a glass of wine, or just hanging out watching the waves from the floor-to-ceiling windows. We were comfortable in the space almost immediately, its updated and charming - the perfect mix. The large living room was so comfortable and cozy, with the large picture windows, and sliding glass door open to let in the ocean breeze and sunshine. The kitchen with all its high-end appliances had everything we needed and more to make our meals; we also loved the water filter! The patio was amazing, we used the binoculars to check out the waves before suiting up most surf days! We loved the BBQ, private parking, in-unit washer/dryer, split system central AC/Heat, and unbeatable views - we cant wait to return! A, the host was amazing, very respectful of our privacy, but available should we need anything!

Great Home, Great Host - 10/10

A has the most beautiful property tucked above Ocean Beach. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long work assignment in San Diego and could not have enjoyed this place any more. The property has incredible views of Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, and Birdrock/La Jolla with perfect patio to enjoy morning coffee and watch for whales or watch the sunset fall over the Pacific Ocean. When inside, we spent many weekends reading on the living room couch listening to the ocean crash on the beach. The kitchen is immaculate and perfect for cooking home cooked meals for yourselves. Not only is this home incredible, but Anna was a fantastic host. She is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. If you have a chance to rent this unique, beautiful home, do it; you will fall in love and never want to leave.
