This unit is the downstairs of a large modern house on a hillside with a private deck. The owners live upstairs. The unit overlooks mostly forested hillsides with no neighbors directly behind. The bedroom has double doors that can be opened up to the living room (with gas fireplace) to provide a very spacious feeling living space. Discount available for traveling health care professionals.
The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a highly desirable area near Fairhaven village. The Interurban trail is less two blocks away and the many walking trails of the Hundred Acre Wood are just a few minutes away.

This unit felt wonderful before even seeing it. The owners are responsive, kind, and welcoming. The place itself is quiet and private with squirrels, deer, trees, and birds as your closest neighbors. The landlords live upstairs, Dan and Karissa are kind, respectful, available and NEVER intrusive. If something needs repair they are quick to respond. I looked at over 20 furnished finders and this was by far the best, the square footage comfortable, the location in Fairhaven, and the price. There is a full bathroom, kitchen pantry, a new fridge on the top/freezer on the bottom, a furnished deck, shared laundry, a dedicated parking place, AND space for my bike. Overall this place is a fantastic (quit looking, I did that for you!).

My wife and I have lived in Chico, CA for over 30 years. We both worked at California State University, Chico for many years and are now retired. We love living next to Bidwell Park where we take walks almost every day. We often spend part of the year in the Pacific Northwest with our daughter.
