Great place!

This property is the perfect place to stay! Its convenient to everything Roanoke has to offer and is super close to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The property itself has everything you need and is nice and cozy to return to after a long day of work or exploring. The landlord is super easy to contact if you have any issues and checks in to make sure everything is going okay!

Great Place

This property has been a great stay and great location. I am a travel nurse and I would recommend to anyone (especially healthcare traveling) as it's less than 2 miles from Carilion Roanoke Memorial. The landlord has been so kind with consistently checking in and making sure I settled in okay. Also, very responsive if I have had questions about the apartment. It's a 3 apartment complex and the neighbors have also been very kind and respectful. I would stay here again if I was coming back to the area!

Hi! I am 33 & I have a son who is almost 2, & we have rented from Larry & his wife for six months, & I can say undoubtedly that we LOVE it here! Not only are Larry & his wife local to the area, but they are also truly caring individuals/landlords, & along with their maintenance man/helper, Cole (who is a great guy too!), they always get things done right away whenever needed, & they are always available by phone too! Our unit is also set up ideally! When we moved in, it truly felt like a home/a safe place to relax," and that's because of the way they furnished/decorated it all (& it still does!)! Plus it has everything we need overall! The building itself is also VERY secure, & they've always made sure that we get the best street parking next to the entrance! It's also nice that we only have 3 units total, so noise is never an issue! I would for sure recommend this building/any of their buildings if you're looking for true hospitality from two genuine landlords & their staff!

Great place, exceptional landlord

Small but spacious apartment in downtown Roanoke. Larry is the best landlord. He's very easy to work with, accommodating, replies quickly, addresses issues directly. He checked on me frequently during my stay and very professional. I had very few issues, most were addressed by Larry, and if I had brought the others to his attention he would have attended to them appropriately. 1. The apartment wasn't as clean as I would have liked when I had arrived (I acknowledge I'm an above average clean freak). Just seemed like no one had lived there in a while and needed a good dusting/sweeping. 2. No dishwasher. Wasn't a problem for me but good to know. 3. AC is window units, one in kitchen and one in sunroom. Work great but I did need an extra fan which Larry happily brought me. 4. Street noise is loud. Bring a noise machine or loud fan. Good location especially if you're at Carillion. I was at LewisGale Salem, less than 20 mins. Would absolutely stay again.

Nice property, easy to work with landlord

I was at this property for a little over 6 months. I never had any issues. L (the landlord) was always easy to get in touch with and responded to me quickly whenever I had any needs or concerns. He was easy to deal with and pleasant. The space itself is nice and has the basics and essentials that someone would need while traveling for work. I would recommend this property and also this landlord for anyone looking for a furnished short-term stay.

Great Place

Very nice apartment on the second floor. Plenty of windows to light in natural lighting close to the hospital only 1.8 miles L the landlord is absolutely awesome. I actually was checked up on by him more than my family . Anything I needed all I had to do was ask and he was there within minutes. Absolutely one of the best landlords Ive ever had highly recommend this place.

A great stay

Staying here at this property has been a lovely visit. The landlord and his wife, which I met on move in day were very nice and showed me around the property. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. If there were many questions I had the landlord was quick to respond. If I returned to Roanoke I would see if this property is available again.

Hidden Gem

This little gem is a great find. The landlord L and his wife J have been a true delight to get to know and work with. L is very attentive to needs and requests and his tenants truly are his top priority. Jen has been so helpful in helping me to navigate the area and given phenomenal recommendations for hiking and nature adventures. This has been a true delight for many reasons. I get to walk and exercise on the greenways here in Roanoke and the connector is a 10 minute walk down the hill. It's 2.5 miles from the front door of the apartment to the front door of Carilion RMH. The access to nature and the outdoors is unparalleled here. The living space has been great. I did a little rearranging of furniture and Larry loved it. It's been easy to make it feel more like home, especially since this is my first contract as a travel nurse. I'm grateful that I found this space here with L and J and more so, loving that I am getting to explore this beautiful city and state!

this was my first contract and I found this convenient apartment very close to the hospital! it's 6 minutes from the garage at Carilion Memorial and is very convenient. parking is right outside on the street next to the apartment and the landlord has cameras on the outside of the building. L, the landlord, has also been great. anytime I needed anything, he was a text away and I always got an answer in a few hours or within a day. if you like being close to work, this is a place to consider!
