Cozy and peaceful place to stay!

I had a wonderful experience at the Casita. So much so that I extended from 3/4 months to 7 months! The location is wonderful, the neighborhood has a real sense of community. I felt comfortable walking around outside at any time of the day. Parking was never a stress, and I am within 15 min of anything in Oakland and Berkeley. Winnie was an absolute gem!! She's warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. She was even welcoming of my dog, which meant the world to me. If you're looking for a place that feels like home from day one, I'd recommend this without hesitation.

Home away from home in Oakland!

Winnie and her family were wonderful hosts. This property is ideally located in Oakland, close to hospitals and the easily accessible freeway. Tucked away in a neighborhood, I never had any issues with noise and parking, while on the street, was aplenty. Winnie’s friendly pup is outside but he’s a good boy who will gladly play a game of fetch with you. Any issues I had Winnie addressed promptly. I stayed her with my two kitties and while small, was the perfect place to stay for two travel contracts.

Travel Nurse Haven

This property was perfect for a temporary stay in Oakland for myself and dog. As a night shift nurse, I was able to sleep comfortably during the day without excessive noise. W was the best host and very accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. This is the perfect haven for a travel nurse needing to be centrally located. I would definitely stay again. 5 stars!
