Cozy, Quiet Living

I was a tenant here for 9 months while working at a nearby hospital in Haymarket. The apartment was incredibly clean, quiet, and fully stocked with everything I needed. Having bi-weekly cleaning provided was a nice added touch. Joan, the landlord, was always responsive to any needs that arose during my stay. This is the perfect spot for someone who appreciates the peacefulness of being away from city living. I highly recommend this apartment to any travel professionals.

Wonderful hosts and property

Upon arriving to Joan and Dick's home, I was immediately greeted and welcomed inside. The best way to describe the unit is like an apartment loft. I had private access to the upstairs portion through their garage. The garage access led up to the kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. The kitchenette featured 1 burner, a full sized fridge, some cooking ware, and a microwave. The basics were just what I needed but I had a few instances where I borrowed some cookware that they kept in their kitchen. The room was cozy with a king sized bed. The closet was spacious with shelving and rods. Since the loft was above the garage, you can hear when it opens and shuts. The unit had an upstairs apartment vibe with quiet downstairs neighbors. Joan and Dick were gracious to share their space and communicated quickly and easily when needed. Their home is located on beautiful property in horse country. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!

Wonderful property

I stayed at this home from January 6, 2023 through September 30, 2024. It was a garage apartment with a separate entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with a large refrigerator. It is in a beautiful home, very clean and light. I used the washer dryer in their home when I needed to do laundry. The owners were very accommodating whenever there was a problem or issue. They took care of things right away. They do have a sweet beagle that would come and visit me a couple of times a day. I would give him treats and walk him sometimes. However, If a tenant didn't want the dog to come upstairs, just don't give him treats. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners. It was out in the country, about a 15 minute drive to town along a country road with farms along both sides. I hope the next tenant who stays there likes it as much as I did.
