Happy Home away from home!

I had an extended stay here in July. I enjoyed working remotely from the Studio during the day and then enjoyed the surrounding areas with afternoon/evening walks in the redwoods or dinner out at a restaurant or local activities. The bed is very comfortable and had additional storage under the bed in addition to the closet. The kitchen was perfect with full size fridge and oven and coffee maker! The weather in Oakland is near perfect year round, so I had the kitchen window, bathroom window or living room window open frequently and enjoyed the breeze and fresh air while inside the studio! The outdoor space between the studio and the owners home is a shared space and beautifully decorated! I loved having a quiet coffee or lunch outside and also enjoyed a shared dinner with E and L. They are super cool and welcoming! The neighborhood is cool too and has some great hills for walking. I loved my stay and look forward to staying again next time Im in the Bay Area!

Great Cozy Studio with a beautiful backyard

I was looking for a place in Oakland for my 13-week travel assignment in Castro Valley when I found this place. I loved the studio and its location. It was close to a lot of cool bars/restos. The place itself had a very cozy vibe to it. The interior design was very cute and chic. It was well-lit and had plenty of storage space. The kitchen was beautiful and equipped with all the necessities for cooking/baking, especially for someone who enjoys being in the kitchen like myself. The bed and couch were comfortable. The living room was a nice little area to relax in especially after a long day at work. The backyard was also a nice spot to hang out in when the sun was out. E and L were great landlords and very cool/fun people. They were very responsive to my texts whenever I had questions/favors. They've also invited me to game nights, cookouts, and dinners at their place whenever they had some of their other friends over. They have really made me feel welcome. Highly recommend!
