Great option for a short term lease

The cottage worked very well for me for a short term lease! It had everything I needed and the host was very easy to contact. There was plenty of space in the cottage, and the upstairs bedroom was very cozy. It's located in a quiet neighborhood as well.

Home away from home

The neighborhood is safe and no loud noises at night. The landlord is nice and very responsive. She helped me unlock my door at 10pm at night when I accidentally locked myself out. When the AC was out she got it fixed immediately. Whenever I needed help she always there ready to give assistance. Ive renewed my lease multiple times. Its close to grocery stores and other amenities.

BEWARE!!!

I never write reviews but this has been on my heart and i want to make others aware. I stayed here for 2 months. The owner kept almost $400 of my deposit due to them having a sewage backup issue. I only used $150 something dollars worth of water (which was supposedly included). But she still kept my money. And it was Christmas time. Also. The door locks kept coming loose. So it was very UNSAFE. Since i had already paid my money i just kept retightening it. And saying my prayers at night.

Quaint and comfortable

I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful little cottage-like home. It was the perfect amount of space and in a great location. There are plenty of stores in the area and everything I needed was within a 10 mile radius, including the hospital where I was working. The neighborhood was very quiet and I especially enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers in the walls. The house is on a private lot which made it super convenient for coming in after a late shift. The house was just as pictured in the description, which was very important because I had a previous experience where the house was totally different from the pictures (and not in a good way). Most of the household necessities were already provided so I only needed to bring groceries and my personal items. Thank you Ms J for helping to make my first travel assignment a seamless transition. I will definitely stay here when I come back in the spring!

My stay

I am a travel nurse so I am always on the go. The property owner was extremely accommodating to my individual needs. Upon arrival there was already complimentary household necessities. Plenty of space to park and storage, there are also bluetooth speakers in the walls to listen to my favorite music from my phone. Overall, it was a quiet and enjoyable place that was in a great location with various stores close by with an easy commute to work.
