Apartment in Tacoma, Washington
Landlord Tenure: 3 years, 7 months
Studio apartment in downtown Tacoma. 800+ square feet. Great views of the city. Brand new deck with view. Walking distance to St. Jospehs hospital. Less than a mile to Tacoma General. Completely furnished and ready to move in. In-unit washer & dryer (brand new). Dedicated hi speed WIFI.
Doug is a wonderful landlord- very understanding, responsive, and accommodating! He has the place set up with ring cameras which helped my roommate and I feel safe. It also came in handy when we were out of town and wanted to check on our cars. The studio itself has every amenity we needed for a comfortable three months (washer/dryer, strong Wi-Fi, kitchenette, sitting space, storage, etc..). It is quite spacious and it's equipped with tall windows and a side porch that give you beautiful sunrises and sunsets! It's within walking distance to the UW campus, Wright Park, and Foss Harbor which made for nice walks with our dog and several restaurants/cafes. The place is proximal to the highway and is within reasonable distance to shopping centers as well! Overall, it's a wonderful space with an owner who truly cares for the place and we'd highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the city!
Amazing Studio Apartment
Doug is such a wonderful landlord! He is always available and tentative when it comes any question or needs dealing with his listing! I felt safe living there alone as a single female, the area is nice and lots of amazing food places!
Affordable, Spacious, Wonderful Studio
I loved living in this little apartment! It's spacious, with large windows that have great views of downtown Tacoma and the Cascades on a clear day. There's plenty of parking, and a small deck on the side that's perfect for sitting and enjoying some fresh air. Unfortunately your view of Mt. Rainier is obscured by a large tree, but a walk around the block will bring it into view. The apartment has a kitchenette instead of a full kitchen, but everything is provided to make decent meals at home. There's an in-unit washer/dryer, and the water tank is small so showers have to be quick. It's within walking distance of a few restaurants, bus routes, and much more, and it's also a quick hop onto the freeway for longer trips. The only issue I had was that sometimes people would not realize it was an apartment and hang out on the porch, but they left when asked. It's a darling space and the landlord is amazing. He and his family were great and put great care into this place. <3
